Arsenal try the usual dirty tactics of unsettling a player, spread the news to Fabrizio and co you’re “preparing a bid” and hope you get him at a discounted rate when he would try to force a move.
Only for a team with no champions league football take him from under your feet because they get their business done.
I couldn’t be happier he isn’t going to Arsenal.

I approached Villa podcasters for a feature on Rogers. None of them have offered up any time. One responded, “I’ve got no interest in talking about one of our players leaving when there’s no basis for it at all.” Sent him a HoA update 7-minutes later. Blocked me. LMAO.

@danbardell It’s a poor move for Rogers on paper but from a Villa perspective it opens up our financial potential far more than Emery has ever had with good time to plan and plot. Rogers was always leaving, better to lost him to a basket case who already have players in his position IMO

Tbh I don’t think the Villa fans are wrong here. If Elliot Anderson is going for £120-£130m why are we gonna get Morgan Rogers on a discounted fee, especially when he signed a new long term deal last summer. Villa will make us pay like West Ham did
