I’ve never understood the constant griping about US peptide vendors and their “markup.” I work in industrial manufacturing. With several clients across OEMs, distributors, packagers, etc. So when I look at the peptide market, what people are angry about isn’t some scam, it’s just a supply chain. The same structure that exists in every manufactured-goods market on earth. Manufacturer → regional distributor → end buyer. That middle layer isn’t there to rob you. It’s there because it adds value: - Product sitting in-region, ready to ship… not waiting weeks on an overseas order - A layer of quality testing before anything reaches your hands - Better customer service (sometimes), not just a Chinese WhatsApp number You don’t buy a Coke from the bottling plant. You buy it from a shelf that sits at the end of multiple distribution layers. The convenience and the peace of mind ARE the product. Want to go direct to the manufacturer? Go for it. But what happens when customs grabs your package? What happens when you want independent testing done? That time, money, and effort just became 100% your problem. The markup vendors charge isn’t just a tax. It’s the cost of someone else absorbing that risk so you don’t have to. The actual economics underneath this? Most US vendors are earning real economic profit right now (unless they hemorrhage cash from bunk supply or payment processing losses). But in general, price sits well above what it costs to acquire, test, and ship a vial, and that spread incentives new entrants. As more vendors show up, supply shifts right and the equilibrium price gets dragged down. Will some of them race to the bottom? Absolutely. The generic vendors reselling the same overseas product with no testing and no service are interchangeable, so buyers default to the only variable left: price. They become price takers and get ground down toward marginal cost, the point where the revenue from the next sale equals the cost of supplying it. Margin compresses to almost nothing and the “ripoff markup” gets competed out. But that only happens to the vendors who let themselves become a commodity. The ones with a real value prop, better testing, real support, actual brand loyalty, are playing a different game. Differentiation gives you your own demand curve. Your buyers aren’t comparing on price alone, so you hold pricing power and stay above marginal cost while the generic crowd races to zero. Wonder why PS exited the market? Because this was their value prop for years, the premium option. But other vendors came in and mogged their quality standards. That’s how I see this market splitting. More access through clinics will only complicate things more, but this will come after a widespread demand boost in the general public. We’re just not at that point yet. So overall one tier commoditizes and bleeds out to razor thin margins, but at that point, what separates them from buying straight from the factory? Delivery speed maybe? Hard to say. The brands that will survive will need to build something worth paying for. And continue to up their game when it comes to quality of service. Same supply and demand pressure on both, completely different outcomes, and the deciding factor is whether you gave the buyer a reason to choose you beyond the number on the invoice.

@999TeddyB I just got back from a party and I got infinity compliments. I never ever ever got any compliments about looks before life truly meaningfully starts at 12% bf. Which I just reached. I have 1000mg of reta in reserve and I plan to get 500 more tirz and 500 sema just in case.

It’s absolutely wild dude! Some days i have to remind myself to eat. Or have to force food down. In clinical trials reta has shown to help with an abundance of body issues besides weight loss. Arthritis, cancer, the future of medicine is very bright But yes, I’ve had 3 surgeries on the same knee and it’s currently living its best life with all that weight gone 🤣

@999TeddyB @_9th_Life_ That’s all very helpful. I can’t imagine what it’s going to feel like when staying below 2400 calories a day is easy. 😅 I think I’m going to start at 1 or 1.5 and slowly go up. Yeah, I bet your joints are very happy with you.

Oh absolutely, eating less than 3-4k calories a day was almost impossible for me! I work in construction and loved food too much so i was always eating terrible things and drinking a lot. From everything I’ve read, if you do start, it’s best to start small. My very first dose was 1.5mg, and then i got impatient and went right up to 2mg. But you could always start at 1-1.5mg, if you tolerate it well, bump up to 2mg. I would always only go up .25-.5mg a week to avoid side effects I am 5’9! So 250lbs was absolutely brutal on my body. Can’t imagine how hard my organs were working just to get through an average day

@999TeddyB @_9th_Life_ So interesting, did you struggle with 2200-2400 calorie range before reta? Yeah, Im debating on starting dose. My inclination is to go really small, but 2mg sounds interesting. Can I ask how tall you are?

Thanks man! Oh it’s crazy, feeling better in every single aspect of life. More energy, mental clarity, overall happiness. Diet has been around 2200-2400 calories a day, restricting to that level hasn’t been hard since the start. Only time i ran into side effects was one week i tried 4mg and it was brutal lmao

@Fidgetz93 I’m really excited to see how lean bulking goes on it. Thankfully i have some pretty good genetics in the muscle department so I’ve been able to put on some good muscle on low calories in the past. Adding in a TRT level dose of test this time as well, will keep you posted man!
