@thekriskay totally, it can be manipulated to tell any story. My broad theory is that people are mostly surviving on debt. Incomes aren't raising anywhere near prices and consumption is still going strong. The math don't math.

Nah, I’m with you 100%. I’m like right on the verge but grew up with older brothers and cousins so I definitely fell in love with real rap, but was young enough to selectively find new stuff. Days before rodeo is like 11 years old at this point though. It was just interesting, in that nothing before it had ever sounded like it. Crazy dope sounds on it. But he talks about absolutely nothing in his music, so if you’re a lyric-head, not the one.

I forgot how to write CSS. I was never good at it but at this point that skill has completely atrophied. Not sure how I feel about it but definitely the first casualty in my skillset as we move more and more towards the agentic world.

@LawrenceDCodes Been studying deterministic optimizations and yeah this does sound like a fun problem to try and tackle. Not one I think I could tackle yet but cool.

I'm fascinated that cost/token optimization doesn't have a real framework yet. It's an undergrad managerial econ problem. Number of users, tasks, task difficulty, model costs, plus auto-scaling down to a free local model when you can. The constraints aren't infinite. Who's gonna build this?

Lmao I forget that I was a professor at a business school for 4 semesters, I love the academic side of business management and new venture creation.

Call me a psychopath, but if there is a future where there are jobs who sole responsibility is to maintain agents, sign me up. That sounds so fun to me. It’s like being a (lowercase m) meta-employee. You have to understand that business case that agent serves deeply and make sure it’s always helpful to people. Sounds so neat.

The separation is sadly gone, we live under laws that are influenced by a religion that not everyone subscribes too. I understand, I don't really have the interests in going there. I don't think that any religion is inherently good or bad. I think people take it and turn it into whatever fits their agenda, often times at the expense of others. This goes for every religion, not a single one is exempt. But I will always, always fight for everyones' right to worship however they want, so long as it's not imposed on me in any way.

@EarnWhere I do have some issues with how Trump & other Christians have approached state & church. It's not the prayer alone itself I take issue with but the nature of the religious differences. Islam & Xianity have vastly different goals & means of accomplishing those things.

They have invited their conquerors. May we take heed in the US.

@EarnWhere Not at all but i think many people are very naive about the explicit goals of Islam. And there is a very political aspect to it that is more than religious.
