This tweet perfectly illustrates what I discussed with @Huriye yesterday: these people want monarchs to conform to their ideology without ever understanding that constitutional monarchs are not the actual power holders. They want constitutional monarchs to be politicians like the US president, ignoring the fact that the two systems are fundamentally different, and then they keep attacking constitutional monarchs who are merely ceremonial figures. Those "royalists" who are secretly pleased that the King is being attacked should realise that Charles will not be the only constitutional monarch they attack (Charles was attacked first because he was the most famous), and now others are also being targeted.
