@exebirding Same experience for me with my Paramo Halcon. Does not shed water and am left with damp patches same as in your pics. Disappointed but love the jacket apart from that!

Paramo Coats - we invested in several years ago and have never been happy with their waterproofing even tho we follow manufacturing recommendations washing in Nikwax products, this doesn’t work on the coats we bought. wet after heavy drizzle how are they for you? ceo@paramo

@naturetrektours Superb! Memories of wonderful distant lynx views on this trip a few years ago. Byron and Sergio were exemplary guides. A well thought out trip that I recommend and will probably do again some time.

Right this second our group is watching this magnificent Iberian Lynx in Coto Donana. Thank you to leader Byron Palacios for the image! It’s great to this species recovering from near extinction.

We thought we’d check whether anyone has any of the following that they may be looking to offload: Collins Bird Guide, Birds of Shetland, mistnet poles and old 60ft mistnets (we don’t want to use the new ones we’ve had donated for catching Puffins!).

Plenty of cuckoos to hear over here in Brittany but have yet to see them. Great views of blue throats & whiskered terns though.
