This is my issue I think. I handle drag and leave the face miles open because of it. Makes it super hard to square face. All I can do is basically hold it off and try and fade it.
If I don’t the balls mega push sliced.
Will give this a go. Will need to work on my pressure into less foot as I feel I’m either too early or late with this too. Will give it a go thanks for this.

Handle Drag vs Proper Driver Release
Dragging the handle through impact with driver can lead to poor strike, low launch, inconsistent ball flight and wider dispersion.
Learn to release the club properly and everything changes from better dynamic loft, improved launch to tighter dispersion and way more enjoyment.
Time to start sending driver down the middle. 🚀
If you’re unsure what your release looks like or want help dialling it in, I offer online swing analysis and coaching through the Skillest app.
You can submit your swing and receive detailed feedback and drills to help you improve.

@LarryRinker @RinkersGolfTips @PGATOUR Struggling with trying to get my hips clear and change my swing away from the high core you’re describing.
Larry what’s the best way to actually check what type of core I am? Am I chasing something I’ll never get too? I want that tour style fully open hips at release
English

This is how the lower body works for an upper core player. Most of us are upper core. #uppercoreswing #WrightBalance @RinkersGolfTips #golftips @PGATOUR #golfswingtips

@shkeengolf For whatever reason I cannottttttt figure out how to start the swing with my right leg. It just posts as I move across. Every good player seems to have their right knee bend and flex in as the hips open.
I cannot get any sort of feel for this move. Do you have any videos?

@xav_moss @HansMahncke Nearly all of those will be company car lease schemes
English

@HansMahncke They sold 600,000 in the EU in 2025, albeit including plug-ins. It's not good that they're failing in the US but that's clearly not their primary market.

English

In case you were wondering, these numbers are not shorthand for thousands. When it says 71, it means 71 cars sold. What an absolute disaster for them.

@ryanmouquegolf Driving. You can have the best approach play and putting but it doesn’t matter if ur always 3 off the tee or hitting out of the trees

What’s the most important club in the bag?
A question on my IG stories was asked & this was my response
You only have to look at stats AND if you haven’t already, read “Every Shot Counts” from Mark Broadie to back up my answer 🙂
PS: Yes, for SOME golfers who literally have the putting yips or chipping yips, perhaps fixing that part of the game may better best for them, but all things being equal, I would chose my answer every day of the week 👍🏼

I have a TourAD VF6 in my 8 degree GT2 but my constant constant miss is a push block fade. I can get the path inside but try as I might I cannot close the face. Would a different shaft possibly help?
Ball speeds and launch are great 165+ and usually 12+ launch.
Got fitted for it when I had an horrendous slicer path across ball so what I need now might be different?

@ShedEndTom1982 @Innersecret @JonathanYarwood Curious I do something similar. Why does raising the hands help at address?
English

1.) I recommend you raise your hands 3-4” at address. That’ll stop you raising up through impact and opening the clubface. 2.) Don’t rotate your head to the right in your backswing. That’s what’s causing you to overturn your shoulders and get across the line at the top. DM me if you need more help. Good luck 👍🏻

How is JR still competing at his age. 🤷♂️1. Great coaching 2. Total commitment 3. TPI screening and gym related work 4. Relentless commitment to swing perfection 5. Great putting 6. Lifestyle commitments. 7. Great caddying. Overall being “all in” to be the best of his age and generation using a fact and evidence based approach with experts like @blackburngolf @mytpi @fooch97 @philkenyonputting 👌🏼👍🙌🔥❤️
