@AAA_MWG I'll be filing complaints against AAA and your Utah dispatchers later this week with the appropriate parties. The way I was treated last night, I don't know how you can come back from this. Just terrible all around.

Well, @AAA_MWG just picked a fight with the wrong person. The 12V battery in our Tesla Model 3 died. The battery needs to be replaced. (For those that don't know, Teslas have a small 12V battery under the hood, similar to gas cars.) The car is parked in my garage at home. AAA replaces these batteries, just as they would with normal gas cars. I submitted a AAA roadside request through the app at 10:39 PM AZ time. A dispatcher called me at 10:52. The guy was polite and friendly. He told me that I live on the wrong side of the street that I live on and said if I lived on the east side of that street, they would have no issues coming to my house, but since I live on the west side of that street, they can't come to my house. I've never been so confused. The dispatcher then tells me that he's going to try and find someone in my area. About 20 minutes go by and another dispatcher calls me and she's pretty rude right off the bat. She tells me that nobody is coming to my house to assist and she questioned me if Teslas even have 12V batteries. I asked how am I not in the territory when I literally live on the road that's the cutoff. I then asked if I should roll my dead car into intersection so I clear the official threshold. She said I could do that if I wanted to and then again refused to help. I asked for a supervisor. After about a 5 minute hold, I got a supervisor. This lady is the rudest human being I've ever spoken with at any point in my life. Just right off the bat, she's rude with a nasty attitude. She's refusing to do anything to assist. She made up several reasons as to why AAA couldn't help: AAA doesn't replace the lithium ion battery on EVs, the driver refuses to drive out to my house, I live too far away, the driver is way too busy tonight, etc. I made sure to correct her that I'm not calling about the lithium ion that powers the motor. I also told her to pull up Google Maps and look at my address. I'm literally on the road that she says is the cutoff. She's just a nasty piece of work this whole time. I then ask for her name so I can start filing a complaint. She refuses to identify. I asked for names, phone numbers, and she refused to provide anything. She then placed me on hold for 25 minutes, hung up on me, and cancelled my service request. If you've ever wanted to know how to lose a customer, this is a perfect way to do it.

@AAA_MWG while the agent my wife spoke to gave a better quote. Naturally, we would like to go with the lower quote. However, it seems like your agents are preventing us from doing so. This is completely unacceptable, and I need some help here.

@AAA_MWG called for tow at 6:50pm from @SFBART Fremont Station. Was told 1 hr, then 1-2 hrs more, then another call that no truck available & maybe another hr. After 9pm had to cancel the tow since I was now in a dark parking lot. 35 yrs of AAA membership -pretty disappointing...

@AAA_MWG I spent and entire day waiting for a tow, multiple phone calls, time off work. And in the end you failed. After 20 years of membership I’m questioning your value.

@AAA_MWG I can't get specific, it was 11 months ago when I called for a tow and it never came. I called customer service, the person was not helpful and had an 'what are you going to do' attitude. I would like to think if I renew I could get help in the future but I thought that then.

@AAA_MWG My membership exp in a few days and I'm wondering if I should renew or not. I've been a member this go around since 2010, the ONE time I needed a tow, the truck was a no show, tow was canceled. The credit monitoring is the only thing that has me kicking around renewing.
