“The funding will give our organization the critical support needed to expand COVID-19 vaccination, testing, and treatment for our underserved communities of Southwest Georgia,”  says Spires. Albany Area Primary Health Care is one of Georgia’s largest Community Health Centers.

Senator Ossoff also announced that out of that funding, AAPHC will receive $8.8 million to our organization. “This emergency funding for AAPHC comes after a difficult year between COVID-19 and the financial pressures created by the pandemic,” says Spires.
