@Nigel_Farage You are wrong here Nigel. Digital IDs for every citizen will be a great asset in fighting illegal immigration as well as tracking our own home grown thugs, rapists, scammers and all other form of pond life.

@Nigel_Farage The Govt should commit NOW to not taking any extra tax as a result of the price increases.

The cost of living is really hitting hard. Fuel taxes are put on by politicians who don't fill up their own cars. Or by civil servants in North London who ride bicycles to work. We're going to get rid of the lunatic green levies — and save you money.

@ExeterCouncil That’s an extraordinary amount of money to spend at a time when the council keeps pleading poverty on so many other fronts. Where is Mallinsons Bridge replacement for example? Where are the Trews Wear repairs. Just more Labour tax and spend.

Councillors have approved plans to buy a modern waste facility - called the Envirohub - on Marsh Barton. This means we’ll be able to upgrade our recycling operations, improve frontline services, and roll out food waste collections across the city more effectively.

First take on $MSFT, $META and $TSLA earnings. Bottom line: AI trade continues to be in a great place (despite MSFT down 6% in after-hours) All that matters is $META suggests CY26 Capex could be up as much as 85% in over CY25. Previously the Street was expecting a 57% increase. Good news for $NVDA and for those playing a role around AI buildout.

@Nigel_Farage I support you over most things Nigel, but Digital ID cards are the single most important introduction in the UK this century.

Keir Starmer has abandoned plans for the Digital ID to be compulsory. This is a victory for individual liberty against a ghastly, authoritarian government. Reform UK would scrap it altogether.

@BBCSpotlight This is yet another example of total incompetence by both @DevonCC & @ExeterCouncil This replacement bridge has been eagerly awaited for years by walkers and cyclists who have to navigate a scruffy little alleyway instead. To spend the grant in another part of Devon is an insult

@munster_gene Is the Air just a pre-cursor to the double screen foldable? Basically, two Airs connected with a hinge?

@Nigel_Farage @Keir_Starmer This was not in the Labour manifesto at the 2024 general election. They have no mandate for ID. It represents a fundamental change in the relationship between the British people and their government and should be subject to people's approval via referendum or general election.

I am firmly opposed to @Keir_Starmer’s digital ID cards. It will make no difference to illegal immigration, but it will be used to control and penalise the rest of us. The state should never have this much power.

@Nigel_Farage @Keir_Starmer Nigel, I’m a Reformer but I disagree with you on this issue. The only people who object to this very sensible suggestion of national ID cards are those that spend their lives breaking the law. Get real and fall into line with Europe on this one. Don’t disagree with everything.

@easyJet You’ve twice changed the time of my forthcoming flight. The notification email doesn’t say ‘sorry’ anywhere. You just expect passengers to suck it up. Such bad manners.

@Nigel_Farage Starmer has a knack for always picking the wrong people. He opts for his cronies instead of the most suitable candidate. Frankly he has the judgment of a donkey. Good riddance, Mandelson.
