Turf Heads: winter warm season question:  You put a priority on apps needed & watered in regardless of weather: no, water is the enemy? Lots of success in making apps when they are planned but should we approach” soil sprays” should be avoided “until greens need water” in winter?

Many times, I sign off from a post with "all of us in paradise." I am not doing a good enough job promoting meditation if the audence believes I am only bragging about where I call home. Paradise starts and is constantly under construction in my mind. Our youngest got married this weekend in the fall-colored hills of Chattanooga. Today is my last day here, and this morning's breather was so full of beauty and paradise. I thought I would share some with y'all.

Hurricane tip, if you have an iPhone make sure you update your software to the new iOS 18. It has a satellite texting feature so if you lose power and cell service you can get messages out.

Time to bail. Told the wife we would leave if we took a Cat 4 Direct Hit. Packing the truck now. Praying for everyone in Milton’s path.

Being an ego maniac with poor self-esteem, I always related to the mythical plight of Sysyphus as a supe: Sysyphus was a clever dude who killed shit and pissed his boss Zeus off. The punishment of pushing that rock up the mountain doesn't mean you can't find a better way to do it. We just experienced our worst hurricane damage in my tenure and quickest recovery as a result of a herculean team effort while assisting several hotels with getting back open in under a week as well. Now we are getting ready to do it again. Looks like a direct hit. No rest for the wicked.
