Registration for children aged 6–14 years commenced in 2024 but was temporarily suspended due to technical and financial constraints. The technical challenges affected the instant issuance of cards to applicants. We are pleased to announce that these issues have now been fully resolved, and registration is set to resume in the Volta and Oti Regions in May 2026. To kickstart the process, the NIA has initiated a pilot registration exercise in selected state and private institutions to enroll the children of staff. The exercise commenced yesterday at the Ministry of the Interior and Media General, and will continue tomorrow at GoldBod, IMS II our technical partners, Jubilee House, PSC etc. This pilot phase will continue in the lead-up to the full rollout in May 2026. Technical challenges for 0-5 years is almost through and will kickstart soon. #NIA #GhanaCard #IdentityManagement

This is a bowl of white rice(polished rice) it used to be Gh¢40.00 in 2024 in Bolga when inflation was 53% and Dollar was Gh¢14.00 with fuel at Gh¢14.00 per liter, today 2026 this same bowl of white rice(polished rice) is Gh¢60.00 with inflation purported to be 3.8% and Dollar at artificial Gh¢11.00 with fuel at Gh¢10.99. I work with someone with such a condition, she gets dizzy and vomits every time she gets into a car. it’s so bad that even holiday travels to have fun, she prefers to stay home. Her mum has it, her daughter has it too…. The only time she agreed to travel long distance was during the 2024 elections. I see what a big sacrifice she made for me. Wow! Doctors, is there a reason for this? Can it be cured?
