IF YOU DON’T HAVE TIME TO READ ABOUT THE OBAMA IRAN NUCLEAR DEAL AND WHY TRUMP ENDED IT, READ THIS. The Obama-era Iran nuclear deal (2015) was called the JCPOA. The basic idea was simple: Iran slows down its nuclear program → Sanctions get lifted → Iran’s economy recovers. HIGH POINTS OF THE OBAMA DEAL: • Iran reduced centrifuges from about 19,000 down to roughly 5,000–6,000 for 10 years • Uranium enrichment capped at 3.67% (weapons grade is around 90%) • Enriched uranium stockpile reduced by about 98% (down to 300 kg) for 15 years • Plutonium path to a bomb blocked by redesigning a reactor • International Atomic Energy Agency inspections allowed • Nuclear breakout time extended from a few months to about 1 year WHAT IRAN GOT: • Sanctions lifted (US, EU, UN nuclear sanctions) • Access to frozen assets (estimates around $100+ billion over time) • Ability to sell oil again • Reconnected to global trade and banking So essentially: Iran got economic relief. The world got temporary nuclear limits. KEY CRITICISMS OF THE DEAL: • Restrictions expired after 10–15 years (sunset clauses) • Didn’t cover ballistic missiles • Didn’t stop funding of proxy groups • Iran kept nuclear knowledge and infrastructure • Sanctions money could fund regional influence WHY TRUMP PULLED OUT IN 2018: Trump called it a bad deal because it delayed a nuclear weapon but didn’t permanently stop one. So he started the “Maximum Pressure” campaign: • Reimposed oil sanctions • Banking sanctions • Shipping sanctions • Tried to drive Iran oil exports toward zero • Designated Revolutionary Guard as terrorist organization • Goal was to force a bigger, tougher deal WHAT HAPPENED AFTER: • Iran’s economy was hit hard • High inflation and currency collapse • Iran later enriched uranium up to around 60% • Uranium stockpile increased again • Breakout time dropped again • Regional tensions increased • No new deal was reached NOW FAST FORWARD TO TODAY AND THE BIG QUESTION: Why are the US and Israel now carrying out military action in Iran? Because this didn’t happen overnight. For over a decade there were multiple attempts to stop Iran’s nuclear program: • Diplomacy • The 2015 nuclear deal • Trump sanctions and maximum pressure • More negotiations in the 2020s • Attempts at a new deal • Failed negotiations again Meanwhile: • Uranium enrichment increased again • Missile programs continued • Proxy conflicts continued • Regional attacks increased • Nuclear breakout time kept shrinking At some point the calculation changed from diplomacy to prevention. The decision became this: Either Iran eventually becomes a nuclear weapons state… Or military action is used to stop the program before that happens. So this situation didn’t appear out of nowhere. It’s the result of: Diplomacy → Deals → Sanctions → Pressure → Negotiations → Failed Deals → Escalation. That’s how we got here.

⭕️IDF Inquiry Concludes: Yesterday’s incident in which @UNIFIL_ troops were killed was not caused by IDF activity. Over the past day, the IDF completed its review of the incident yesterday, in which it was reported that UNIFIL troops were killed by the explosion of an explosive device in the Bani Haiyyan area in southern Lebanon. A comprehensive operational examination indicates that no explosive device was placed in the area by IDF troops, and that no IDF troops were present in the area at all. The IDF is operating against Hezbollah, and not against UNIFIL, the Lebanese Armed Forces, or Lebanese civilians. The IDF calls on UNIFIL to avoid presence in combat zones where the IDF has issued warnings to the civilian population to evacuate for their safety.

The Palestinian Authority executes people for selling land to Jews. Let that sink in, a Palestinian sells land to a Jew, and the “state” of Narnia kills him. The UN? Macron? Silence. Egypt executes members of the Muslim Brotherhood. Not a word. Saudi Arabia has put nearly 2,000 people to death in the last decade. Still nothing. Iran executes roughly 250 people every month. Crickets. Then Israel passes a death-penalty law for terrorists, and suddenly the world screams “genocide.” Hypocrisy doesn’t even begin to cover it.

‼️ NEW: Lebanese Army forces began evacuating positions in southern Lebanon today as Israeli advances continue, including from the Christian villages of Ain Ebel and Rmeich, as well as the Shi’a villages of A-Tiri, Barashit, and Beit Yahoun. The withdrawal sparked anger among Christian residents, who fear Hezbollah terrorists will exploit the vacuum—entering their villages and using them as human shields to launch attacks against Israel. Following urgent diplomatic intervention by the Apostolic Nuncio, the Lebanese government reversed course, agreeing to keep Internal Security Forces (ISF) units in Ain Ebel and Rmeich—ensuring the Christian communities remain under state protection. -@selenaryan_ Stay connected, follow @MOSSADil.

“Something very dangerous happened in Nigeria in October 2010 that should have changed everything about our national security forever. Nigerian security agents received credible intelligence about suspicious cargo sitting at Apapa Port in Lagos. They moved in fast. When they cracked open the 13 shipping containers, they didn’t find building materials like the shipping documents claimed. They found weapons. Hundreds of 107mm Katyusha artillery rockets. Mortars of different sizes. Rocket launchers. Grenades. Explosives. Thousands of rounds of ammunition. All of it carefully hidden inside pallets of glass wool and stone. The entire shipment had come straight from Bandar Abbas, Iran — a major port controlled by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps. It was loaded and sealed in Iran and shipped on the MV CMA CGM Everest. The Iranian “businessman” behind it? Azim Aghajani — a man Nigerian authorities and UN investigators later identified as a senior operative of the IRGC Quds Force. Four people were arrested, including Aghajani. This was no ordinary smuggling job. It was a clear violation of UN arms sanctions against Iran. Iran quickly denied any government involvement, calling it a “private trader’s mistake.” But the evidence was overwhelming. Aghajani was convicted in a Nigerian court in 2013 and sentenced to five years for arms smuggling. The weapons were exactly the type used by Hezbollah in Lebanon. Weapons of war were flowing straight into Nigeria. Now fast forward to May 2013. Something even more chilling happened in Kano. After weeks of surveillance, Nigerian security forces raided a warehouse in the city. What they discovered was officially described as a full “Hezbollah armoury” and an active terrorist cell operating on Nigerian soil. Inside the warehouse: AK-47 rifles, anti-tank weapons, rocket-propelled grenades with missiles, submachine guns, hand grenades, explosives and massive amounts of ammunition. All stored professionally in sawdust, ready for deployment. Three Lebanese nationals were arrested on the spot. Nigerian intelligence explicitly linked the entire cache to Hezbollah, the Iranian-backed militant group. These were not local thugs playing with guns. This was a foreign terror network with state-level support. Now guess what? Despite two major, well-documented interceptions proving that the Iranian government and its proxy Hezbollah were secretly shipping advanced weapons into Nigeria, the full networks were never completely dismantled in public view. Some arrests were made, diplomatic noises were issued, and relations with Iran were eventually restored. Yet the same patterns of influence through certain religious groups, cultural ties and untraceable supply lines continue to raise serious questions even today, while Nigeria battles deadly insecurity on multiple fronts. The weapons were real. The links were real. The threat was real. And just like that… life went on.
