#STEPN & #STEPNGO March Townhall Recap 📝 🔹 Legendary Enhancement launch 🔹 🐰 teaser 🔹 Marathon Challenge Season 2 🔹 Community questions Missed it? We got you covered 👇 👑 Legendary Enhancement Legendary Enhancement is now live, and for the first time in STEPN, players can now enhance Epic Sneakers into a Legendary Sneaker. This first phase starts with Genesis holders. A few key points: 🔸 You need 5 Epic Sneakers in total 🔸 That includes 4 Epic Sneakers and at least 1 Epic Genesis Sneaker 🔸 Enhancing them together gives you 1 Legendary Sneaker 🔸 Because an Epic Genesis Sneaker is included, the resulting Legendary will also remain Genesis A few reminders: 🔸 This is the next stage of the Legendary rollout, following previous airdrops and auctions 🔸 Access is being expanded carefully, starting with Genesis holders first 🔸 The goal is to open the system in controlled phases while keeping the ecosystem healthy For the full breakdown of the mechanics and requirements, players can check the Whitepaper. 🐰 teaser Yes, the BWAAAH are coming back. Prepare for chaos. Wen? How? NobBWAAAHody knows... 🏁 Marathon Challenge Season 2 The STEPN and STEPN GO Marathon Challenge is back for Season 2. The core idea stays the same: use 2 Energy every day, stay consistent, and make it to the finish line. But this time, one of the biggest upgrades is here: Teams. Here are the basics: 🔹 Registration opened on March 16 at marathon.fsl.com 🔹 Entry is locked with 50 USDC or more 🔹 Round 1 runs from March 30 to April 13 🔹 Players must use 2 Energy every day to remain in the round 🔹 Missing a day means elimination for that round Season 2 also introduces Teams: 🔹 Players can create their own team or join an existing one 🔹 Team captains can create private teams with join codes 🔹 Captains can remove team members if needed 🔹 Each player can only be in one team at a time 🔹 Team results do not affect each player’s individual earnings And yes, competition is part of it: 🔹 A Team Energy Leaderboard ranks teams by total Energy spent during the round 🔹 An Individual Energy listing within each team shows who is contributing the most The Season Pass is also back: 🔸 Price remains 20 USDC and it's fully activated after entering 1 Marathon Round 🔸 Includes STEPN OG Premium Membership from subscription until the end of Season 2 🔸 Premium Membership increases the chances to keep Gems after upgrading and to keep a Scroll after minting 🔸 Subscribers also receive 1 soulbound STEPN Common Sneaker 🔸 Plus Marathon Boxes, extra drops, exclusive items, and more surprises Season 2 keeps the consistency challenge that worked in Season 1, while adding a more social and competitive layer through Teams. 🌍 Community events We also highlighted continued IRL activity across the STEPN community, especially in Japan. Community events remain a big part of how STEPN shows up in the real world, with MetaX continuing to lead STEPN BOOST activations in Japan. Looking ahead, two upcoming events were highlighted: 🔹 Algarve Blockchain ABC 2 Year Celebration on March 27 with @lourotrail 🔹 STEPN BOOST Fukui on March 29 by @MetaXN_FSL These events continue to strengthen the link between movement, community, and real-world connection. That’s the March Townhall recap. Legendary Enhancement is now live, the Rabbids are getting ready to return, Marathon Season 2 is almost here, and community momentum keeps growing both in-app and on the ground.

😂E-balcão – Episode: “JPEG-gate and the Phantom Power of Attorney” Look, I’ve been chatting with the Autoridade Tributária’s famous E-Balcão for years. It’s like online therapy for your tax problems: you type your question, some civil servant on the other side types back, and usually it works fine. You get your answers, life goes on. But … last week we hit rock bottom. This was not “fine”. This was a masterclass in bureaucratic comedy. I’m requesting NIFs (fiscal numbers) for clients for over a decade. Normally? Two days, boom, done. Smooth as butter. This time? Five working days of silence. Then the messages start rolling in like a bad sitcom with no laugh track. Round 1: AT: “We can’t read JPEG files. Please convert everything to PDF.” Me: …JPEGs? The format we’ve been sending since before Zoom was invented? Suddenly forbidden? Did they upgrade to Windows 95? Fine. Converted. Resent. Round 2: AT: “The Power of Attorney is missing.” Me: It’s literally the third file, named “Power_of_Attorney_Client_X.pdf”. Bold title, big font. Still, I attach it again, just in case they’re playing hide-and-seek. Round 3: AT: “Proof of address is missing.” Me: It’s right there. Driver’s license clearly states the address. Maybe they need it in Comic Sans? Round 4: AT: “The proof of address is not in PDF.” Me: [staring at the PDF I just opened myself] …It literally is. Are we looking at the same files? Or did you open someone else’s divorce papers by mistake? Round 5: AT: “The Power of Attorney needs to be notarised.” Me: [zooms in on the giant notary stamp the size of a dinner plate] …It has more stamps than a tourist passport. My solicitor basically turned it into modern art. Round 6 – the finale: AT: “The acceptance of the fiscal representative does NOT replace the Power of Attorney.” Me: Correct! That’s why I sent BOTH! I’m not trying to speedrun bureaucracy; I’m following the rules! At this point the person is clearly on their first week, copy-pasting the same questions like a broken chatbot. I politely ask: “Can we please escalate to a supervisor?” No reply. Just more loops. So I did what any sane person would do: I rage-cancelled the request, opened a brand-new one… and 48 hours later, a competent human being looks at the exact same files and goes: “All good. Here’s your NIF. Moral of the story? E-Balcão is great… when you get someone who has actually read the manual. Otherwise, it’s just expensive performance art titled “How Many Times Can We Ask About the Same PDF?”Thank you, E-Balcão.

PayPal just expanded $PYUSD to 68 more countries. PayPal USD, the dollar-backed stablecoin PayPal launched in 2023, is now available in 68 additional countries. That brings $PYUSD from a US-only product to a genuinely global one. For context - PayPal has 430M+ active accounts worldwide. Most of those users have never touched crypto. They don't want to. But they'll use a PayPal product without thinking twice. That's the entire thesis. This isn't a crypto story. It's a distribution story. $PYUSD doesn't need to win on tech. It doesn't need to beat $USDC or $USDT in DeFi protocols. It just needs PayPal's existing users to move money across borders the same way they already split a dinner bill. And PayPal's users already do that. Constantly. Here's what actually changes now: - Any of PayPal's 430M+ users in those 68 countries can now hold, send, and receive dollars - no bank account required. - Remittance corridors just got a massive new competitor. Western Union and MoneyGram should be paying close attention. - Stablecoin adoption numbers are about to look very different. If $PYUSD goes mainstream, it will go mainstream fast - because the onboarding already happened years ago when people signed up for PayPal. The stablecoin wars may not be fought in DeFi. But in payments apps your mom already uses. PayPal just brought a 430M-person army to the fight.

💡Lesson learned: Don't judge a book by its cover! I learned this the hard way a few years ago. As many of you know, I'm a regular at Crypto Fridays at @TheBlockLisboa, who hosts a weekly crypto meetup held every Friday evening in the heart of Lisbon. I could fill an entire book with the wild, memorable encounters I've had there over the years. This is just one of them. It was a typical Friday night. We were all sitting in a loose circle, beers in hand, deep in discussion about the latest DeFi plays, market trends, and whatever moonshot someone was shilling that week. Then, this unassuming guy, looking every bit like a broke university student, slid into the seat next to me. Dark hoodie pulled up over his head, scruffy unshaven beard, keeping a low profile, barely noticeable in the crowd. Out of nowhere, he leans in and quietly asks:"You know about income taxes, right? Thanks to some info that came my way, I was able to pull off a leveraged trade in DeFi last week... and made 3 million euros. How's something like that taxed?" I was floored. Back then, I was still pretty new to crypto myself. In my head, anyone making that kind of money had to fit the stereotype: sharp suit, Rolex gleaming on the wrist, living it up in Dubai, posting yacht pics on CT. That's the narrative CT (Crypto Twitter) sold us. But here was this hoodie-wearing, low-key dude casually dropping a seven-figure win like it was no big deal. I had judged him by his appearance and he just checkmated me without even trying. Fast forward to today: years later, he's still one of my clients. He doesn't pull off 3-million-euro weeks every month anymore, but he's doing consistently well and has built something solid. Moral of the story? Appearances in crypto can be wildly deceiving. The quiet guy in the hoodie at the bar might just be sitting on life-changing gains. Stay humble, keep an open mind, and never assume you know someone's story based on how they look.

Vietnam just announced plans to ban trading on Binance and OKX. It isn't a ban on crypto, but a ban on FOREIGN crypto. Vietnam ranks 4th globally in crypto adoption - one of the most active retail markets on the planet. The government doesn't want to kill that. It wants to own it. The Ministry of Finance is drafting rules that would bar Vietnamese citizens from trading on overseas platforms, while simultaneously launching a pilot program for licensed local exchanges. That pilot could go live this month. Five Vietnamese institutions are already named in the resolution: - FPT - Viettel - VPBank - Vietcombank - A joint venture between Postal Savings Bank and MB Bank The pilot was approved back in September 2025. The implications are pretty clear. Binance and OKX lose access to a massive, highly active user base. The five local institutions get a government-protected head start in one of the world's fastest-growing crypto countries. And the government gets to tax it all. The broader playbook isn't new. India tried it. Turkey tried it. Restrict the globals, incubate the locals, collect the revenue. The real question: do Vietnamese traders actually comply, or do they just fire up a VPN and keep trading on Binance anyway?
