Today's tragic loss of life in the Channel, involving children, is heartbreaking. These deaths are a result of the increasing desperation of refugees as their legal routes to safety close. Without legal routes their journeys are dangerous and traffickers are the only winners.

Congratulations to Bude Refugee Support Group on their award. Over here in Devon @ABIDEinDevon led the way for #CommunitySponsorship and there are now 8 approved sponsorship groups with more working on their plans. Wonderful community action to give families life away from war.
