@RebsD @RefugeeHub @ABIDEinDevon I hear what you're saying. What I mean is that community sponsorship groups can give refugees the best opportunity to flourish. I recognise that this doesn't always happen and invariably involves many challenges for all those involved.

@RefugeeHub @ABIDEinDevon @AnnaRoderick1 Careful here: groups need to manage their expectations. What does 'flourish' mean? And per whom? It's enough (for our group anyway) in some cases we got some of our newcomers of a camp or other precarious living situation. Of course we next explore education/employment etc.
