MULTICHOICE CANCELS SHOWMAX MultiChoice has confirmed it will shut down Showmax after years of heavy financial losses. The streaming platform, launched in 2015 and relaunched in 2024, struggled to achieve commercial viability in Africa’s challenging digital market.
