Things I want to see more of in fiction: 🟣 Masculine men 🟣 Universally-relevant themes like self-sacrifice, courage, and love of family 🟣 Actual humor that doesn’t rely on innuendo or incessant swearing to be funny What I want to see less: 🟣 Girlbossing 🟣 Smut 🟣 Grooming

…. You know what? I like this. God help me, think this will work (if true)

Does anyone here actually have library cards as adults?

There is a lot of talk about reviving Christian genre fiction in the vein of Tolkien and C.S. Lewis. Yes 100% we need more of those. But we also need good, grounded, relatable and non-caricature stories of faith and being a Christian. We can’t let books like Yesteryear infect our culture unanswered. The enemy is not being subtle. We shouldn’t either.

It is actually EXHAUSTING being Jewish in the book community right now. The fuck. Can we not all just agree Nazis are fucking bad??? Absolute loser behaviour.
