🇺🇦🇸🇮 At the latest UDCG meeting, a number of countries announced new contributions to the PURL package, with Slovenia among them. We highly appreciate Slovenia’s decision to join the PURL initiative. This step demonstrates Slovenia’s strong solidarity with Ukraine and its commitment to supporting Ukraine’s ability to defend itself against Russian aggression. Each new contribution from an Ally joining PURL brings us closer to ensuring that Ukraine receives the weapons it urgently needs. Slovenia’s contribution to the PURL initiative is part of the country’s broader efforts to strengthen collective security in Europe. 🇸🇮 Stalni predstavnik Slovenije pri zvezi Nato Andrej Benedejčič v oddaji @TVOdmevi na TV SLO: Poljska je danes zaprosila za dodatno pomoč pri zračni obrambi, dodatne obveščevalne podatke in pomoč pri strateškem komuniciranju. Vse to so ji zaveznice zagotovile. Aktivacija 4. člena kaže, kako resno gleda Poljska na ta incident, do zdaj je bil aktiviran šele osmič, že tretjič glede Rusije. Gre za zelo resen instrument v okviru Severnoatlantske pogodbe, saj mu sledi 5. člen. Zato je pomembno, da vsi razumemo, kako resna je ta situacija. Do nje je prišlo dva dneva pred velikimi vajami Zapad 2025 in bi lahko vodila do nesporazuma. Dobro bi bilo, da bi ruska stran zdaj pokazala pripravljenost za odprtost in dialog. Kajti od leta 2022 vsi mehanizmi za povečanje zaupanja v Evropi ne delujejo več. Zato so taki nesporazumi oz. incidenti zelo nevarni. Odziv Rusije je zelo pomemben, pokazati mora, da želi deeskalirati situacijo in da je pripravljena na pogovore. @SloveniaNATO

#BSF2025 Women panelists, including 🇱🇻 and 🇽🇰 MFAs, Commissioner 🇪🇺 @hadjalahbib , DG @wto and Deputy @NATO agreed that women politicians, regardless of their different political affiliations, must support each other and cooperate in addressing challenging issues and act in a decent, respectful and empathetic manner.

Iskrena zahvala @Drzavnizbor za umik referenduma o obrambnih izdatkih! Kot sem že rekel, je 🇸🇮 diplomacija vse ključne elemente resolucije o @Slovenskavojska uspela vključiti v haaško deklaracijo zveze @NATO. Zato me veseli, da so 🇸🇮 poslanci prepoznali ta skupni dosežek!
