Also discussed Japan’s forward looking initiative - POWERR Asia - a $10 billion effort to build resilience of Asian economies to energy shocks. A very productive meeting with President of Japan International Cooperation Agency -JICA H.E Dr Akihiko Tanaka and his team on potential areas for collaboration in pushing towards a new era of partnerships for trade. Discussing how to safeguard the multilateral trading system in the context of the follow-up to MC14.
