In NZ, violence in health settings has tripled since 2019. All staff, patients, whānau and visitors must be safe in emergency departments. Political parties must commit to appropriately trained 24/7 security staff for every ED. ace.mn/p4v

It’s yes to amplifying Indigenous voices in health and in emergency departments, and it’s yes to working towards closing the gap, and it’s yes to making sure EDs provide the best, culturally safe care for Indigenous Peoples. #Yes23 @acemonline @AIDAAustralia

Māori are more likely than non-Māori to come to the emergency department for care. To give Māori the best possible culturally safe care in ED, parties must commit to implementing a plan to gather accurate ED data and address inequities. ace.mn/p4v
