@zkeefer Alec is a great player, but price seems high based off production. He averaged 3.1 receptions a game in 2025, his best year. Stats have trended up each year - probably due to better QB play. If price is right, bring him back.

I hope the #Colts lose both Jones and Pierce because Ballard has so epically mismanaged this situation. Tag Pierce because he’s the better player plus you know Kyler, Tua, Fields and other similar QBs to Jones, but not coming off Achilles ruptures, are likely available. So dumb.

@DariusJButler The key is to find a team with fun parents. Get your daughter on that team and make the three day weekends as fun as possible. Did 13 club seasons with my two daughters and enjoyed every minute. Sure it set my retirement age back a decade, but it was worth it.

@HolderStephen There are always 10 games at home each year. It’s a question of whether it’s 8 regular season games and 2 preseason games, or it’s 9 regular season and 1 preseason game. In 2025 it’s the latter and we are losing 1 of those 9 regular season games. So we are owed 1 game back

Lots of angst heading to tomorrow. I have many friends on both teams. Both sides freaking out. When they ask what I think given my extensive travels and coverage across the swing states here’s what I tell them: I don’t know the outcome but I do know America will endure either way. History tends to get lost on those in the moment, but we’ve been here before. Super close elections (by the way, this one may not even make the top 5), hyper partisanship and political risk. Democracy can be ugly at times. We’ve nearly broken many times, and did break once. Im not naive. Our system isn’t perfect, but it’s the best in the world. Checks and balances. Newsflash: Congress actually runs the show, not one person. Never has been, never will be. Our policy was simple: no monarchy. Our economy - while unfair and painful for many - is still the best in the world. Travel as I have and you’ll see it first hand. The planet is a tough place. There is no nation in the world with our social & economic mobility. It’s why first generation immigrants can build lives, practice their religion, build companies, and, if they choose, send their kids to college. It’s why millions of people want to live here. It’s why the son of a high school dropout mother can write this right now. I know optimism isn’t sexy and I’m sure I’ll get dunked on for this take. Go vote. Pray for peace either way and know that in 2064 our grandkids will be arguing about “the most important election of our lifetime” Because for them it will be. As it is for us. Godspeed
