This May Day weekend, ACP Illinois and @ACP_Wisconsin did more than just march in remembrance of those who fought before us. We took things a step further, honoring their legacy by serving the people with concrete action: restoring a natural area for our neighbors to enjoy, and standing shoulder to shoulder with workers of USW Local 7-1 who’ve been illegally locked out of the BP oil refinery in Whiting, Indiana.

Amid the ongoing oil crisis and record Big Oil profits, BP wants to cut wages and jobs while refusing negotiations with refinery workers for a fair contract.
The American Communist Party stands with American workers in their fight against the greed of Big Oil.

BP has illegally locked out over 1,000 workers in Indiana, trying to break the union and replace over 100 with non-union labor. ACP members visited the strike line to hear the worker’s grievances and stand in solidarity. Their fight is our fight. The future belongs to the working class!

Today, members of ACP Illinois honored International Women’s Day by gifting 80 flower arrangements to women in our community.
This day began as a working-class movement for dignity, equality, and justice for women everywhere. We are proud to continue celebrating and honoring the women who build our communities every day.
Happy International Women’s Day! ✊🌷

ACP TX condemns the development of Dallas’ “Cop City,” a blatant threat against the people of Dallas.
As the city faces compounding crises pushing more working people into poverty & to the brink of desperation, our city leadership responds not by fighting for its people, but by funding a militarized police fortress.
Dallas leadership does not have our best interests in mind. They are building the apparatuses to fight us, not fight for us. This cannot stand.

On April 29th, the Atlanta Public Safety Training Center, known as "Cop City" was officially opened. However, Cop City is more than just a police training facility — it's ultimately a testing ground for imperialist oppression, honed through U.S.-Israeli military collaboration.
Under the Georgia International Law Enforcement Exchange (GILEE), Atlanta police train with the Israeli Occupation Forces, learning the same violent tactics used against Palestinians in Gaza and the West Bank: home raids, racial profiling, and mass arrests. Now, those same counterinsurgency methods are being turned against working-class Americans.
The Georgia Chapter of @ACPMain upholds point 13 of our Party Program, which calls for the dismantling of the carceral state and its replacement with a People’s Militia — accountable to the community, not to capitalist interests. We demand an end to all police exchanges with the Zionist Entity and the immediate shutdown of Cop City. Our communities deserve housing, healthcare, and safety — not militarized police terror.

On March 11th, the Georgia Chapter of @ACPMain worked with a multitude of different organizations, such as Stop Cop City, Community Movement Builders, and the People's Campaign who are forming the People's Movement Assembly.
We disrupted the Atlanta Mayor Andre Dickens' campaign party, exposing him for lying to his voter base after he promised to put our demands on the ballet if the petition reached 15%, which it did. A press conference was also held announcing the launch of the People's Movement Assembly, which will take place on March 22nd, at 12pm in Howell Park, on the West End of Atlanta.
We are very honored to have worked with them, and hope to continue working with them and building strong relations and solidarity!

Among the recent libel that has been spread about our Party, there are claims that we do not know how to talk to workers.
To disprove this notion here is an interview that we at the Georgia Chapter of @ACPMain conducted while supporting the Amazon strikes in December.

Today, the Georgia Chapter of @ACPmain remembers and celebrates the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr, who was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia.
He fought tirelessly his whole life for the dignity of the working class, so much so that he was assassinated as a result.
