Speed and athleticism definitely run in the Boatwright family. Glad to be working with 2027 OF/Util @LBoatwright08 of @ACR_Baseball after just finishing up the recruiting process with his older brother 2025 @pete_boat who is currently at @waketechbsb Much like Pete, Lou is a sub 7 runner, posting a 6.75 60 yd at the 10/6 Bob Lewis Scout Day. Flashing pop in the bat, topping at 89 mph EVs, averaging 86. Athletic set up, gets to a good hitting position. Connected, lots of linedrives. Makes things happen in game, can put a bunt down. Good routes & movements in the OF. Accelerates. Versatile, didn't work out in the INF on 11/9, but he can play on the dirt. 3.8 GPA. Undecided on Degree Path @Michael_Staicar

2027 @LBoatwright08 of @ACR_Baseball also worked out on the mound on 11/9. Velo needs to continue climbing as he's sitting mid 7s, but he's spinning it up to 2173 w/ some cut to it. Tall release point, avg 6.27 from the 5'11" 160 RHP. Interesting look. 12/6 shape on the CB, spins up to 2083. Throws SL a little harder, tighter, similar shape as CB This release point and mix will become more effective if he climbs into 8s. Two full seasons for a good athlete @Michael_Staicar
