@CatholicDanni it is MAN-MADE
Just like golden calf and idol worship all over the Bible.
Open New King James and get to reading. I suggest daily chronological for starters.
@CatholicDanni I am not bickering.
This is just logic. Your post showed an object with comment that Jesus is Lord and God.
I was simply pointing out that worshiping that object is not worshipping God.
And thank you, a blessed day to you as well.
@SouthernSky25 So why ask? 😂
Seems a bit of weird to pretend you don’t know what it is and ask just to argue and bicker about it.
I’m not here to bicker and won’t.
Have a blessed day.
I know what it is. I was raised in Roman Catholicism. Eucharist you speak of is exactly what i asked you about, you just don't want to say it. In the picture pope holds it, people are on their knees, bowing, while altar boys do the jingling of the bells. He says" The body of Christ". So everyone BOWS to a little piece of water and flower wrapped in gold. That is idiolatry.
Same goes for wine.
Doing this in memorial is one thing. Bowing to it, kissing it and worshipping it - is what i am talking about.
The church (the believers) is the Body of Christ.
@CatholicDanni@hillbillythings It's a completely delusional position to hold, there are no similarities between Faustina's picture and the Shroud. And, putting my personal opinion aside, it would be much more hones to just admit there are some major problems with the Divine Mercy devotion on multiple fronts
This is completely insane, @hillbillythings is 100% right here and it's crazy that this post has so many likes. The picture it's literally just the Divine Mercy pic with lowered opacity deluding the viewer. The Shroud doesn't even remotely look like Faustina's pic
