Participants needed for this study on migration! It's a great opportunity for people from racialised minorities to explore their migration history and contribute to better care for people from diverse ethnic backgrounds. Please RT @DrRBabb @BABCP_Equality @LeilaLawton3

Why should psychotherapists have an awareness of history? I spoke about this in relation to working therapeutically with people from minoritised ethnicities recently. Webinar only accessible to @UK_ACP members unfortunately but I'm hoping to do more on this topic in next year

Now available to @UK_ACP #PsychologyOfAgeingNetwork members a fascinating webinar by @AChurchard 'The Importance of Historical Knowledge in Working Therapeutically with Clients from Minoritised Ethnicities'

6/6 All an initial exploration of this area. I think it makes some interesting links and suggests steps that can be taken to improve therapist skill, but I'm keen for feedback and to see if this model could be developed further.
