ADV Reliant and HMPNGS Cape Gloucester have commenced the transfer of essential stores to Manus Island in support of Exercise Puk Puk - to be held in PNG in September 🇵🇬🇦🇺

Operator maintenance is the key to sustaining capabilities. Working together with local business Ela Motors, the #PNGAusPartnership completed maintenance training for the #PNGDF’s new riverine barge. @AusHCPNG @DefenceAust

AusAirForce to simulate C-17A high density altitude operations & exposure to weather and terrain not available in 🇦🇺 Through Ex Global Dexterity, engineering equipment has been delivered to Manus ahead of Ex PUK PUK later this year.

Shooting is an essential skill for soldiers and marksmanship training must be done safely. The #PNGAusPartnership have been qualifying officers and NCOs as range safety staff to ensure the #PNGDF soldiers become safe and effective weapon operators. 👍💪@AusHCPNG

Outdoor classrooms are essential to practical lessons in close proximity to training areas. These facilities at the #PNGDF’s Goldie River Training Depot were completed by the #PNGAusPartnership recently and will enhance training effectiveness. 💪@AusHCPNG

The team & I were put through our paces by soldiers deployed to PNG during a PT session at Port Moresby earlier this week. Great opportunity to meet our #AusArmy Mentoring Training Team who are helping deliver training to the #PNGDF & hear about their work with #OurPartners.

A big week in training this week, with #PNGDF soldiers completing the Grade 1 Driver Course in Port Moresby and Communications and Clerks courses in Lae. The #PNGAusPartnership is working shoulder to shoulder on the foundation skills needed to build capability. 👍👊 @AusHCPNG

Today the #PNGAusPartnership commemorated the service and sacrifice of 🇵🇬 and 🇦🇺 in the past by standing shoulder to shoulder with those who continue to serve and sacrifice in the present. #LestWeForget

On Anzac Day we remember all those who have served & pay tribute to those who made the ultimate sacrifice. It was an honour to be at Bomana War Cemetery today in PNG – a special place for both Australians & for PNG, symbolising the relationship between our nations & our people.

Chapels are central to the #PNGDF, not just as a house of worship, but also as a community meeting place. This week the refurbished St Peter’s at Goldie River Training Depot, with a multi-purpose building alongside, was opened by the #PNGAusPartnership. @DefenceAust @AusHCPNG
