Not a single word in the text of this tweet or its 52-second whiteboard video to indicate that the federal government is actually the source of this $381 million for Ontario schools. #onted #COVID19Ontario
Stephen Lecce@Sflecce

I joined Ontario’s Chief Medical Officer of Health to announce new and tougher measures to further protect our schools, including expanded testing & an additional $381M in supports.   We're committed to following medical advice to safely reopen schools & get kids back to class.

@Paul__G__ Appreciate this thread. Thanks for sending, hadnt seen it (I’m barely on here, unless you tag me!) Still think we can find opposite expert opinions out there, as the actual evidence is thin on both sides. But certainly food for thought.

@Paul__G__ Schools were a near-total success story last fall, dude. No one thought we’d make it past Sept, and almost every single school made it to xmas. Obv now we need to do more, bc cases are so high. But that wasnt the case last year.

@Paul__G__ If that's what you need to believe he said today, I guess there are bigger crimes out there. Have a good night, as well.

@Paul__G__ That argument just doesn't scan, man. Don't tweet that the CMO admitted something that he simply didn't admit. It's disingenuous, and factually inaccurate, and that's a problem. I have no argument with Amy Greer. I, too, defer to experts.

@Paul__G__ Yes, since the spike in cases, sure. He didn't admit to the fall setup being poor.

@Paul__G__ I'm no Lecce fan, but let's be honest in our criticism. The CMO didn't admit that. In fact, he reminded us of the fall, which was a huge success, given our fears in Sept. Schools are shut because the virus exploded over the holidays. Schools did remarkably well before then.

This Is What Extinction Looks Like, Dr. Lori Marino whalesanctuaryproject.org/this-is-what-e… "Extinction is not a cold calculus about the numbers of breeding females and the degree of genetic diversity. Extinction is blood, guts and last breaths of individuals who wanted to live and who lost.."

I was on the right path. He is a really interesting person and got my attention during all the conference. Funny enough, I didn't even want to attend it. But he made me glad I did. Thank you @jteacher1402 and @ADWestoll for this amazing experience.

I was really pleased by Andrew Westoll's conference. My favorite part was when he started talking about the importance of discovering yourself by trying new things. That part really resonated with me because I started doing this not to long ago and what he said just proved that
