What immigration law? Alex Pretti is an American citizen. Minneapolis is entirely outside of the 100-mile border zone. He didn't obstruct a removal. He had a phone in his hand and helped a woman to her feet. He was beaten, pepper sprayed, disarmed and murdered by border patrol.

ICE cut off her wedding ring. Sue Tincher is a 55-year-old American citizen: a grandmother, 5’4’, and white. Just in case you thought you’d be safe. She walked to her neighbor’s house after getting alerts that ICE was nearby. She stood across the street and asked an officer if they were ICE. They told her to “get back.” She didn’t move. Seconds later, they threw her to the ground, handcuffed her, and hauled her away. She spent five hours in leg shackles at a federal building. Agents cut off her wedding ring and threatened to pepper-spray her in the truck. Her husband spent all day trying to find where they’d taken her. Federal officials wouldn’t tell him. Her "crime" was simply standing on a public street, watching, and asking questions. Read that again: here in Minnesota, a U.S. citizen was arrested, restrained, and disappeared for hours, not for interfering, not for resisting, but for asking a question. If they can arrest Sue Tincher for standing on a public sidewalk, they can arrest anyone. Immigration attorneys said they’re seeing constitutional violations every single day now. I’m running because we need leaders who will call this what it is- un-American, unconstitutional, and unacceptable. Sue Tincher stood up. I’m standing up. The Song That Sounds Like English (But Isn’t) In 1972, Italian singer Adriano Celentano released a funk track titled "Prisencolinensinainciusol." To a casual listener, the lyrics sound exactly like American English, complete with a convincing accent and cadence. However, the entire song is gibberish. Celentano wrote the song as an experiment to prove a point about language barriers and the dominance of American culture in Italy. He wanted to show that Italians would love a song simply because it sounded American, even if the lyrics meant absolutely nothing. He was right- the track became a massive chart-topping hit in Europe and is widely regarded today as a masterpiece of linguistic satire.

Can someone explain why federal agents are now allowed to arrest unarmed, innocent American citizens while depriving them of their Constitutional rights? "The boy, who is Hispanic and African American, was held in a garage for five hours 'without informing his family, stating any charges, or allowing him to call an attorney,' the statement said. He is a U.S. citizen, as is his entire immediate family, the release said."
