2 Things. 1. The Government provides no resources. Their our resources. The people, their labor and taxes do. So there's that. You can't be charitable with other people's money you took by force.
2. The BIBLE says, In I Timothy 5:8, "If any provide not for his own, especially those of his own house, he has denied the faith and is worse than an infidel." My own house is my countrymen. Not the world. So while I want to be kind to the world, it's not my primary responsibility, to feed my kids, and my nation's kids is priority. We aren't even doing that part right. And I'd rather help feed other nation's kids IN their nation. Not here. Stop importing problems.
We can't even balance a checkbook right. We are DEEPLY in DEBT. So before we start Saving the World, can we get our finances in order, cut some unnecessary spending and make sure American Citizens, of all colors and creeds are taken care of first? At least mostly? I think that's a reasonable ask....
