Solution to gerrymandering is simple. You just have to drop the constraint that only one person can represent a district. For example, if instead we gave each district 100 votes in the legislature: And in an election one party got 60 percent, one party got 25 percent and one party got 15 percent, Then all three would win the election, with one getting 60 votes, one getting 25 votes and one getting 15 votes. @moseskagan FWIW, Internets: late payment on a debt, legitimately owned or not, will not increase your (standard FICO) credit score by itself. It may be de facto required by a lender’s internal policy to not grant credit to someone with a current delinquency.

About 5 yrs into my real estate career, I went to refi a building, the bank pulled my credit and the score was like 550 or something. Turned out some clown had stolen my ID, got store credit at JC Penney, purchased like $100 worth of pans, and (obviously) never paid. In order to get my score back up and the refi done, the cleanest thing for me to do was to pay JCP for the G-d-damned pans.

Is there a "credit report" expert on X? I have a 30-day late reported on my mortgage on my credit report that is incorrect, but I am struggling to get it taken off my credit report. Obviously, as a real estate developer and investor, my credit score and payment history is extremely important. I have appealed to all 3 credit bureaus and provided supporting documentation, including a letter from BMO Harris bank that stated they flagged the fraud by mistake and the payment should have gone through. I've appealed to Associated Bank (my mortgage holder) and they reviewed the issue and documentation but also denied my request. I've spent countless hours on this and at this point am pretty pissed. Do I just get my lawyer to start scaring people or is there a smarter way to get this resolved?

No comprehensive gold audits at Fort Knox were done before the 1971 Nixon Shock or the 1973 U.S. Treasury #GOLD revaluation. The last full physical inventory was all the way back in 1953. The U.S. Treasury simply raised the official gold price based on decades-old records. Only in Sept 1974 did a partial public inspection occur. #Gold #FortKnox
