𝗕𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗞𝗜𝗡𝗚: Former St. Petersburg Catholic WR/DB Alex McCollough (‘28) has transferred to Armwood for his junior season, sources confirm to Suncoast Preps.
McCollough previously transferred from Wiregrass Ranch to St. Petersburg Catholic earlier this offseason.
In 2025, McCollough recorded 22 receptions for 416 yards and 2 touchdowns while adding 48 tackles, 4 interceptions, 2 pass deflections and 2 fumble recoveries on defense.
McCollough gives the Hawks another versatile athlete heading into the 2026 season.

𝗕𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗞𝗜𝗡𝗚: Former Northeast DL/LB Orion Sillito (‘27) has transferred to St. Petersburg Catholic for his senior season, sources confirm to Suncoast Preps.
In 2025, Sillito recorded 44 tackles, 9 TFL, and 4 sacks while leading Northeast in sacks.
Sillito gives the Barons a productive defender in the front seven heading into the 2026 season.

PSA to Florida high school football players: Once you hit the practice field officially on July 27th, that team you begin practicing with is who you’re with for the 2026 #hsfb season, per the FHSAA. There’s no checking out a few practices and changing your mind. You begin practicing with that team, that’s who you’ll be with, pending any extraordinary circumstances. I can definitely see into the crystal ball 🔮 that there will be kids, families that will challenge this new rule and that will be the interesting part is how the state association handles the case-by-case basis folks.

Having coaches on your staff who don’t at least show a unified front to what the head coach is trying to communicate and accomplish are cancers.
As a head coach you have to remove them immediately if you don’t, you then will become the bad guy.

I’m diabetic, I also struggle with being hydrated (yes I know drink water) and I really struggle with the heat.
I coach, I play golf, I love being outside.
I’m looking for the best hydration, magnesium, potassium and zinc type supplements or drink.
As a former professional baseball player avid golfer and someone who does a lot in the charity scene I’d love to team up with a company for my health and for endorsement. Is there a company out there I need to look into?

It’s crazy to see so many 17/18u kids who are committed to colleges throwing 80-100 pitches during the summer circuit.

I’m sick of seeing all these high school coaches complaining because kids are doing other things in the summer besides their precious 6am workouts. I loved that life before…Summer football stuff is overrated. Let kids be kids and give them some grace for being kids

This kid is mad because I cut him. He was and is out of shape, had a loser mentality, and made constant excuses why he couldn’t do anything I asked of him.
He has graduated and is an adult so I feel comfortable responding to him.

In 2025, Browning completed 103 of 167 passes for 1,883 yards, 21 TD, and 3 INT while adding 115 rushing yards on 17 carries. @FHSAA St.Pete Catholic has built a team two years in a row with +20 transfers Escher year. They have a drug dealer recruiting kids and are playing by a different set of rules. Most corrupt program outside of First Academy, Venice and Miami Schools.

For most young high school baseball players, travel ball just isn’t necessary. You can make a much larger debt in your development if you spent that time training, recovering, and hitting PR’s each week in the summer.
