@GaryMyersNY @ProFootballHOF Common place to disguise ur team cameramen and have them sneak over to the other teams sideline and start filming them? Biggest cheating scandal in history of nfl. He also did it over many years. Get off ur knees

@GaryMyersNY @ProFootballHOF @TomBrady 44% winning percentage w/o Brady, 1 playoff appearance w/ Cleveland, Brady won SB w/o Belichick, Shula won w/o Marino, Deflategate, Spygate, horrible 1st year at NC...these r all facts

The #1 worst argument I've heard from fans against Bill Belichick belonging in @ProFootballHOF: He never won anything w/out @TomBrady. Remember: Brady was the 199th player picked in 2000. 7th QB taken. He was not Elway or Peyton coming into NFL. Who kept him as 4th string QB as rookie and developed him? Who made decision to keep Bledsoe on bench after he recovered from life-threatening injury in '01? Pats in early years of dynasty were defense-first team. Don Shula is considered by some as greatest coach in NFL history. Why is it he's never been criticized for having all-time top 5 QB Dan Marino for 13 seasons and never winning SB and getting to just one (in Marino's second season) and losing by 22 points?

@SHistorians @NFL_DovKleiman That’s his point though. Everyone at 18-20 would make that choice. He is saying giving young kids this choice is a disservice to their growth. They have to be taught to stay and fight.

@NFL_DovKleiman Let’s be completely honest- Michael would 100% and I mean 100% take more money and transfer to a different school if he was 20 years old. There is zero doubt in my mind.

Holy Sh*t: The legendary Michael Irvin goes OFF on players entering the transfer portal because of NIL. "I had to fight and earn my way to first string. Their families are f**king doomed. They don't know how to fight." 😤😤😤

130 schools said no. He led the losingest program in college football history to a national championship anyway. Fernando Mendoza was a 2-star recruit from Miami. He tried to walk on at his hometown school. They passed. So did FIU. So did FAU. So did everyone else. At 17, he was sitting in his bedroom, crying over a silent recruiting inbox—after driving to 18 camps with his dad and sending highlights to more than 100 programs. Not one FBS offer. His only option? Yale. No scholarship. No NFL path. Everyone told him to be “realistic.” “Know your place.” “Be grateful.” He didn’t listen. Because Mendoza understood something most people miss: The worst outcome isn’t failing. It’s never getting the chance to try. Two weeks before signing day in 2022, his phone rang. Cal needed a body. One offer. Out of 134 schools. He took it. He arrived as the third-string quarterback. Spent a year on the scout team. Lost his first four starts. Got sacked 41 times behind a broken offensive line. Still got up. Every time. Then Cal brought in a transfer instead of building around him. So Mendoza left the only school that had ever said yes. He transferred to Indiana—the losingest program in college football history. People laughed. “Career suicide.” “Graveyard program.” “Nobody wins there.” One coach told him something different: “I’m going to make you the best Fernando Mendoza possible.” That was enough. Mendoza wasn’t just playing for football. His mother has battled multiple sclerosis for 18 years. Before every snap, he thought of her. “My mother is my why.” Indiana went 16–0. Beat six Top-10 teams. Won their first Big Ten title since 1945. Mendoza threw 41 touchdowns. Won the Heisman—first in school history. First Cuban-American to ever do it. Then came the title game. Miami. Near his hometown. Fourth-and-4. Season on the line. Quarterback draw. The kid 134 schools rejected spun through defenders and dove into the end zone. Game over. Indiana—national champions. The losingest program became the best team in America. All because a 17-year-old refused to believe “no” was the end. Rankings don’t decide your ceiling. Gatekeepers don’t write your ending. Being overlooked isn’t a verdict—it’s a starting point. Sometimes all you need is one shot… and the courage to bet on yourself when nobody else will. Don’t quit. Credit: Barclay Mullins

@AaronJFentress @TCEonSGPN JMU didn’t make the rules, the power 4 did to protect themselves (they wanted all 4 conference champions in). They didn’t anticipate two G5 teams would be ranked ahead of their champion. We should be laughing at the ACC and Power 4, not crapping on JMU who just played the games.

@KayceSmith Do you have this same hate when the 16 seeds qualify for ncaa tourney? I think it’s great. One of these days a team will win and that one win will make it worth it. The easier fix is all top 25 teams play championship weekend in a showcase. P.S. my bro is a coach for JMU lol.

The G5 stealing two spots (and giving Ole Miss and Oregon essentially a bye) is an absolute travesty. The auto bid has to change. Notre Dame and Vandy would've been 138518376586X better.

@HornSports @TheHerd They have 3 losses, one to a 4-8 team. Crazy they might get in. Yet an 11-1 Power 4 team might not make it (when they should be a lock). $EC/Big Brands should not be a factor if you get in or not.

Urban Meyer on @TheHerd earlier “Texas deserves to be in. I would not penalize that loss against Ohio State. You can’t do that….If they didn’t play Ohio State, we wouldn’t be having this conversation.”

You really this guy is gonna be all in? Ask Nick Saban how this scenario worked out years ago. If I knew the players were 100 percent in favor of Kiffin staying, I’d certainly feel differently. But there is no evidence of that yet. We will agree to disagree.
Scott Duggan@AEScott2

@BostonHeraldHS Who Lane Kiffin is as a person is irrelevant. Playing in two weeks without 3/4 of your offensive staff is not best for the kids, and I don’t see how you could make a point it is.

And you know for sure the kids actually wanted him there? Several parents of players have said that is not the case. You really want a coach who doesn’t want to be there coaching the kids. A coach who pressured his assistants to either join him on the plane or the plane goes?
Scott Duggan@AEScott2

@BostonHeraldHS For choosing his ego over what is best for the kids? Lane Kiffin is an a**hole, but him coaching was best for the kids and the school this year, and once again a bunch of adults chose what was best for THEM. Sad.

@SimplyElly5 I am saying those conferences have a way harder conference schedule and if you don’t reward them for adding to it, they will stop scheduling it and the ACC and Big 12 will die. I also know they aren’t all good, ie Texas AM would be docked for only beating the SEC garbage.

@AEScott2 So by that stance you are only valuing two conferences and if you’re ONLY in those two conferences, you get leniency. Mind you, they lost one non-con game. The other two were in conference. Do we reward/punish other conferences the same way?
