We are proud to announce the launch of the 𝐓𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐌𝐒𝐌𝐄 𝐅𝐚𝐜𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦, an initiative designed to connect Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) with tailored business growth services and appropriate financial solutions. This platform intends to unite enterprises, business growth service providers, and capital providers to support MSMEs in their growth, resilience, and the creation of fulfilling and dignified jobs across #Rwanda. Accessible online at terimberemsme.rw and supported by satellite offices in @MusanzeDistrict , @RubavuDistrict , @RusiziDistrict, @KayonzaDistrict , and @HuyeDistrict, the Facility aims to bring support closer to entrepreneurs, especially in rural and peri-urban areas of #Rwanda. Today, our Chief Programs Officer, Agnès Uwanyiligira, participated in the ZEP-RE Annual Meetings in #Kigali, where she joined a panel discussion on ““𝑰𝒏𝒄𝒍𝒖𝒔𝒊𝒗𝒆 𝑰𝒏𝒔𝒖𝒓𝒂𝒏𝒄𝒆: 𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝑹𝒐𝒍𝒆 𝒐𝒇 𝑰𝒏𝒔𝒖𝒓𝒂𝒏𝒄𝒆 𝒊𝒏 𝑷𝒓𝒐𝒕𝒆𝒄𝒕𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑳𝒊𝒗𝒆𝒍𝒊𝒉𝒐𝒐𝒅𝒔, 𝑩𝒖𝒔𝒊𝒏𝒆𝒔𝒔𝒆𝒔 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑪𝒐𝒎𝒎𝒖𝒏𝒊𝒕𝒊𝒆𝒔.” Agnès highlighted that bundling insurance with other financial products can drive inclusive insurance and resilience, but this is effective only when solutions are designed around customers’ needs. She underscored three key system enablers for scaling bundled insurance solutions: 🔹Intentional customer-centricity across the insurance value chain 🔹Strong partnerships with aligned goals and incentives 🔹Enhanced insurance data and infrastructure that enables seamless integration for scale She said that integrating insurance into the broader financial system and other infrastructure can be a game-changer for resilience, provided that customer centricity is at the heart of insurance models. #InclusiveInsurance #FinancialInclusion

As we close Women’s Month, we reflect on the impact of the Journey of Transformation (JoT). We visited two families in @BureraDistrict that have completed the programme. Through JoT, women in these families are receiving stronger support from their husbands, from sharing household responsibilities to supporting their business growth. Delivered in collaboration with @rwamrec, the training aimed to address gender social norms that hinder women’s financial inclusion and economic empowerment. It guided couples to build stronger financial capabilities, make joint decisions, share care responsibilities more equitably, and reduce gender-based violence within families.
