⚡️Cadet-Athlete of the Week - Morgan Glaser⚡️ Morgan Glaser captured the high jump title and scored for the Falcons in the heptathlon at the CU1 Mountain West Outdoor Track & Field Championships, which wrapped up on May 16. The sophomore, who registered the second-highest heptathlon total in Air Force history with a fifth-place tally of 5062 points, cleared 1.82 meters to become the third MW high jump champion in Academy history. Glaser’s 14 total points helped the women to their first-ever top-five finish at the conference championship meet. #FlyFightWin

🥈 Zach Ayers claimed second in the 5000-meter run [13:44.65], while Jayden Nats [fourth, 13:47.87, No. 9️⃣ all-time at Air Force[ and Junior Allen [sixth, 14:11.78] also scored for the Falcons!

Pole Vaulters on the Podium! 🥉 Max McFarlane cleared 5.13 meters [16-10] to finish third in the pole vault, while Tanner Woodring added a fifth-place mark of 4.98 meters [16-4]!

India Jones [fourth, 16:11.31], Anna Harden [fifth, 16:15.64] and Ella Johnson [eighth, 16:21.66] all scored for the Falcons in the 5000-meter run!

Backed by 🥈🥉 finishes from Jettason Rose [20.54] and Asher Jenkins [20.65], the Falcons placed three in the top-5 of the 200-meter dash, with Zachary DeWalt adding a fifth-place time of 20.99!

The men earned three scoring finishes in the 800-meter run 5. Jonah Hochstetler - 1:50.11 6. Patrick Allen - 1:50.33** 8. Parker Hintz - 1:51.15 ** No. 1️⃣7️⃣ all-time at Air Force

Ryan Hajek [52.07, No. 1️⃣5️⃣ all-time at Air Force] and Colton Manock [52.69, No. 2️⃣1️⃣] went 4-5 in the 400-meter hurdles!

Allison Fernstrom tallied points for the Falcons in the 400-meter hurdles following a sixth-place time of 60.09!

There are Air Force Records ... and then there are 𝗔𝗜𝗥 𝗙𝗢𝗥𝗖𝗘 𝗥𝗘𝗖𝗢𝗥𝗗𝗦! Liliane Aittama just dropped a 2:03.14 to finish 🥈 in the 800-meter run and take 0.78 off a program record that USAFA Athletics Hall of Famer Gail Conway had held since 1984!

The podium is this way! 🥉 Asher Jenkins, a member of the 4x1 earlier today, was back on the podium after placing third in the 100-meter dash [10.36]!
