Texas Tanner kicked off his WCAP career with wins in the discus and hammer at the Ironwoods Classic! goairforcefalcons.com/news/2026/6/21…

2-for-2 for Texas Tanner, who also captured the discus title at Ironwoods, with a throw of 66.20 meters [217-2]!

In his first meet as a pro, former Falcon Texas Tanner won the hammer throw [74.95m / 245-10] at the Ironwoods Classic! 🔨

Based on their NCAA finishes at the cross country indoor and outdoor championships, the Air Force men finished the 2025-26 season at No. 1️⃣3️⃣ in the @ustfccca Program of the Year rankings!

With Texas Tanner's 13 points, Air Force finished 19th in the team standings - the men's first-ever top-20 finish and their highest placement since 1964!

Texas Tanner closed an iconic career with @AF_TFXC this week by placing 2nd in the hammer and 4th in the discus. In his 34th and 35th competitions of the seasons, the best thrower to ever come through a service academy left an unforgettable mark on the NCAA ⬇️

That was career All-America honor No. 6️⃣ for Texas Tanner ,,, two more than any other athlete in Academy history!

Another day, another trip to the podium! With a fourth-place throw of 63.75 meters [209-2], Texas Tanner claimed First-Team All-America honors in the discus!
