Ben Goertzel believes an 82-year-old could take a daily pill and get back the body they had at 30. He says this'll happen in 2-4 years. He says getting old is just our body's cells slowly wearing out, not a fixed rule of nature. Scientists have already discovered old cells can turn young again in a lab. The missing piece is only a mind smart enough to plan the repair for all 37 trillion cells in the human body. Goertzel believes a super-smart AI will do exactly that. Ilya Sutskever, co-founder and chief scientist of OpenAI:
"Artificial intelligence is nothing but digital brains inside large computers."
Sit with how flatly he says it. Not a metaphor, not marketing. The seat of intelligence in a human is a biological brain. The seat of intelligence in AI is an artificial one. Same thing, different substrate.
Right now, he admits, it only "understands mostly, sort of." But that gap is temporary. In his words: "the day will come when the digital brains that live inside our computers will become as good and even better than our own biological brains. Computers will become smarter than us."
He makes it concrete. Once an AI is built to be a doctor, with every medical paper and billions of hours of clinical experience, always on and almost free, "we will look back at today's health care similarly to how we look at 16th century dentistry."
Hinton says it already understands. Ilya says the brain is just built differently. Either way, the argument was never whether it thinks. It was whether we were ready for the answer.

Searle's Chinese Room said a machine can pass every test and understand nothing. Everyone still calls these models "stochastic parrots," just autocomplete. Then the man who invented the technology sat down and said the opposite. His whole argument is one line: "to predict the next word you have to understand the sentences." A chatbot has about a trillion connections. Your brain has 100 trillion. And that trillion already knows far more than your hundred. Then he goes further. Human beings will be the second most intelligent beings on the planet. Not a maybe. He just says "yeah." The machine can do everything and know nothing of what it does. That is either proof it isn't thinking, or proof we never understood what thinking was.

Over the past 48 hours, demand has pushed close to the limits of our current capacity. To protect the experience of existing subscribers, we're temporarily pausing new subscriptions and prioritizing compute for current members. Existing subscribed users are not affected.
We're adding capacity as fast as we can and will reopen new subscription spots in batches.

I tested Qwen 3.8 Max vs Kimi K3
Same scene, lighting, props, detail requirements. Qwen's output is decent, but it's not close to Kimi K3.
Qwen's output came out messy, text handling was off, and the composition felt unorganized next to Kimi's version.
In my opinion, Qwen isn't second to Fable 5 either, and it's also below GPT-5.6 Sol. It's a solid model, but not at that tier.
Kimi K3 is still clearly ahead here.

@dantheboxingman I think the simulation here is relatively accurate to how the fight would go. Bud has tighter shots, boots tends to swing wider and is likely to get caught more by Bud’s tighter shoots.

Wuji hands used by genesis to do a wire harnessing task. This kind of thing was completely out of sight of robotics until a couple years ago and is now possible with off the shelf hardware.
