There is a completely different societal and social impact between the two. Now look at the world. Who is suppressed the most when free speech is imposed upon? Who is targeted the most by a digital police state? Who suffers the most from crime? It’s not the unorganized.

Just to be clear on the governments stance via policing and the judicial process on white people vs black people. They view the black population as unorganized. They burn down the Walgreens. They view white people as organized. They take over the capital.

Your bottom time on a 160ft cave dive, with conventional open circuit, even with twin 80s is not going to be long. Add in….caves, disorienting surroundings and panic, and i can see why this happened. Real talk, I have dove…. A lot, and for what it’s worth I’m a dive master. And I will never….fucking EVER go cave diving. Especially at this fucking depth.

@drsuffy That’s interesting, I’ve never done any kind of gamma logging. We use electrical resistivity tomography to find voids. What kind of range does the logger have? Id imagine is pretty short.

Wondering which drill hand just opened my tools and cracked open my logging devices Btw we use 137Cs to measure the density of the rock and compare it with known measurements to get the layer formations while drilling, it's called LWD (logging while drilling)you have this sealed part to calibrate the tool or gauge if you're doing any nuclear densitometry to ensure precision. The most common tool is this densometer, which you'll see for regular construction for foundation work. But we used something similar in drilling also, many forms but it's referred to as LWD or MWD tools. Some sit behind the drill bit and can measure while drilling while others use a wireline device to measure @BudLightSadness can show y'all some more, it's pretty prevalent offshore wise. I only used them if no logging was done prior in the area or when measuring deposit size for a mine.

@zanehengsperger The one i made for my work app just does padding dimensions and it seems to work for us. Basically you upload the part then you tell it the padding like +.5 in x,y,z, then you tell it the amount of parts and it tells you square footage and some other details.

@ryu_08l6 Once you figure out what feeds and speeds you want, while it starts cutting, check the load meter if the machine has one. If the load is high you need to back the feed off so you don’t break your spindle and need to buy a new one 👍

@ryu_08l6 For something like that start with a soft material and use a reasonably sized endmill or drill and try to make a hole or some cuts. Something like 1/4 (.25) inch should be good for your machine. Don’t start with a micro tool or you’ll probably break it while you experiment 👍

Today’s project is an adapter for our new VTL because for some unknown reason there is no flood coolant. Pros: I will have flood coolant Cons: If we forget to remove it and switch to a lathe tool we’re gonna have a bad time 😂 I’m going to have to paint it neon orange
