The stunned animal may not react to the pain of its dispatching (by whatever method), but it likely feels it. So you've given it the pain of being stunned, followed by the pain of execution.

Why are you so worried about it? Pass a law requiring it to be labeled. Do you think Muslims are trying to trick you into eating halal, which in no way would convert you to Islam? I can't tell halal meat from kosher from haram/treif meat by sight, smell, or taste and neither can you.

We don't see anyone whining about that. Considering the number of trans atheletes and how many of them loose to cisgender rivals, this isn't an issue at all.
