I’m short $b here. Royalty issues at Fourmile. Mali about to go from bad to worse when the mines shut down with no fuel. Tanzania probably runs out of diesel in a month. Pakistan on ice (maybe a good thing). Management in turmoil. Getting sued by Newmont. Just a hedge for now.

I'm seeing a lot of people calling the bottom in gold here given that it's "oversold" and the fundamentals haven't changed (if anything, probably strengthened). The market does not care and is probably smarter than you. No need to be a hero. Sit on your hands and wait.
