@miningstockguy is there podcast version of your interviews available?

As someone who was recently a buyer in the diamond market, it made no sense for me to pay significantly more for a natural diamond than to get a lab grown diamond that’s the exact same thing. My wife agreed and preferred getting a larger lab made diamond for much less money. Although I’m typically a buyer in crashes, I think this is a rare market that remains depressed because lab made diamonds are here to stay.

It was in backwardation during the entire Iran conflict but there were times when they could judge at or above $85-90 about a year out, above $80 2 years out, and above ~$70 three years out. The futures market isn’t as generous today as it was a few weeks ago but there was a window for companies to guarantee outstanding cash flow for as long as 3 years into the future
