@_KaizenMindset_ Interesting u skipped 20 to 30 - literally the best time to start a family Why are you working for a company you need to please by not having a baby? Are you married? And what even does "it's too late" at 30 mean? Also, 35 is not really high risk yet, more like 38, maybe 37

Mujer: Quedé embarazada en secundaria. “La arruinó su vida.” Quedé embarazada en la universidad. “Irresponsable.”

A neat little trick here from Talarico and Colbert Federal law since 1932 has required broadcast media to give equal time to competing political candidates, but Colbert wanted to platform only Talarico and not his other opponents. So, he interviews Talarico but releases the video only online. Everyone who sees it thinks it aired on the show, Colbert doesn't have to give equal time, and since he has virtually no TV viewers anyway, he still reaches his maximum audience. Meanwhile, Talarico falsely claims that he's being censored and gets free publicity two weeks out from his primary election by claiming that almost a century of federal law is somehow President Trump's fault. An ingenious way of getting around the law indeed...

This is the interview Donald Trump didn’t want you to see. His FCC refused to air my interview with Stephen Colbert. Trump is worried we’re about to flip Texas.

@awstar11 Have you considered that officers weren't really afraid, but found a loophole to justify shooting him? It certainly looks that way to me from the body language and timing of the shooters actions There seems to be a pattern of this happening more than we think

This is spot on but I'll go one step further. Once you engage with law enforcement, the chances of misunderstanding, mistakes, and tragedy increase dramatically. No laws or Constitution will insulate you from LEO's perception of danger and their human reaction.
Armstrong Williams 🇺🇸@Arightside

The debate in Minnesota is being misframed. This is not about whether someone had the right to carry a firearm to a protest. The First Amendment protects protest. The Second Amendment protects the right to keep and bear arms. You can legally carry a firearm loaded, with magazines at a protest. That right does not vanish because the setting is tense or political. In Minnesota, not having your permit physically on you is a petty misdemeanor, not jail-worthy, and the citation must be dismissed if a valid permit existed. Paperwork is not the issue. And carrying a loaded firearm is not a threat by itself. Millions of Americans lawfully carry every day without incident. Rights do not become violence simply because they make people uncomfortable. The real question is judgment. Why carry a firearm into close proximity with federal agents during a volatile encounter? That’s not a constitutional issue it’s a prudence issue. Lawful does not always mean wise, especially in chaotic moments where split-second decisions have permanent consequences. That’s why facts and a full investigation matter. We can defend constitutional rights and acknowledge reality at the same time. Anything less isn’t justice it’s noise.

Which also explains the timing of the first shot you hear that is actually from the shooter, not from Pretti's gun - Pretti's gun never went off, it doesn't even really look like it unless you're forcing yourself to find someway to absolve the shooter

The claim that Pretti's Sig discharged and that caused the agents to fire is so ridiculous because if you watch both angles you can clearly see the shooter already pulled his gun before disarmer that took Pretti's gun even stood up to walk away - shooter nudges disarmer to move

A particularly damning point from a longtime FBI Agent. Ross has phone in his right hand, switches to left to free up the right hand as he walks to the front of the car. He unholsters his weapon just as she shifts from reverse to drive. He is anticipating shooting, not reacting.

Let’s be honest. He didn’t shoot her because she “ran him over.” He shot because he didn’t want her to get away Everything else is post-hoc justification. Stop coping. Stop lying.

@ShawnMcGaffey88 @adamscochran Did you ever drive a car? She was reversing and she literally turns the wheel away the second she starts driving - which is exactly where you cut off the video because you're dishonest But you can still notice it pretty clearly if you look carefully

If you don’t speed up the video, then you’ll see (just like in all the other clips), that the officer was out of the way. He leans over the hood and fires the first shot. Then the woman accelerates. Which, if you’ve just been shot at, is reasonable. But MAGA only want to look at this clip and play it at 2x speed.

This angle clearly shows the ICE agent being hit and dragged on by the car. Could have easily killed him.

Now that we have the full footage, ICE's narrative has completely evaporated. This woman was clearly trying to flee, not trying to hit anyone.

@AmySwearer Biggest proof this was murder is the fact he pulled his gun rather than running for his life If he was afraid she trying to kill him, he wouldn't have time to pull his gun, he would jump out of the way first

I've now watched the Minneapolis ICE shooting from three different angles, and there's no real question -- it was quite obviously a legally justified use of deadly force by a law enforcement officer. That officer faced an unknown subject who, while ignoring lawful commands, pointed a 3000+ lbs. car at him and evidenced an intent to continue driving that car. He shot the driver (1) after the driver made physical contact with his body and (2) through the front windshield. You can slow down the video all you want and spend minutes analyzing micro-seconds to make after-the-fact assessments of the likelihood the driver actually intended to use the car as a lethal weapon. In reality, during those micro-seconds in real time, it's reasonable to presume that a driver ignoring your commands to stop is about to floor the gas peddle, turn the wheel into you, and run you over. It's no different than the reasonable presumption that the suspect who ignores your commands to keep their hands up and reaches for the gun in their waistband intends to use it against you rather than toss it away.
