Today, the 84th rise in the Federal Government's insidious, lazy, and 'set and forget' alcohol excise hits the hotel industry. Many of our family run pubs absorb the excise into their operating costs in an effort to keep prices down for customers, but they can’t keep this up!

Pubs will once again be hit with Federal Government’s alcohol excise. AHA|SA members notice it and their patrons do too! Labor and Liberals need to freeze this lazy, hidden tax on beer and spirits sold in pubs, clubs, and restaurants - they're the heart of their communities!

The announcement of Adelaide hosting FIVE Rugby World Cup matches in 2027 is fantastic news for our hotel industry! This event, along with the British & Irish Lions match in July this year, provides a massive return on investment and a welcome injection to our local economy!
