NQT observation. NQT asked a question to the class, a pupil shouted out, NQT replied "If you heard it, steal it, now put your hand up to answer." All hands went up. Pupil smiled. Next question asked, pupil did not yell out. I heard it and will steal it!

@educator_in @RogersHistory Agree to some extent but in many cases, parents are just as shocked. Multiple groups chats and fake names makes it too easy to bully and hide away from adults prying eyes.

@AHallEdu @RogersHistory Definitely a contributing factor. That goes back to inappropriate parenting practices.

@AnthonyB1985 @RogersHistory Agree. At a national level, more regulation needed to a) restrict usage b) higher levels of monitoring or c) just turn it off :)

@AHallEdu @RogersHistory Digital platforms in general are causing so many problems. YouTube, tiktok, online gaming... Inappropriate language, content and activities. Parents really need warning about this more. We try our best as a school but any kind of leadership on this nationally is sorely lacking.
