6/6 Build on @ConcreteXYZ The future of finance isn't clicking buttons; it's setting goals and letting robust code handle the route. It’s time to upgrade from manual labor to automated wealth.

Most people treat DeFi like a full-time job. If you’re manually moving stablecoins every time a rate changes, you’re losing. Here is how Concrete Vaults fix the babysitting problem and why infrastructure is the real alpha. 🧵👇

I love how you have raised a good point about the view of our esteemed Shaykh Ibn Uthaymeen. He looked at the Quranic stories of the Prophet Ibrahim (peace be upon him) in Surah Hud and Surah Adh-Dhariyat, where the angels said "Salam" and he replied with "Salam." Based on that, he argued that the shortened version is technically enough. It is a view from a respected scholar, so we cannot just brush it aside. However, when you look at the evidence from the majority of the scholars and the direct teachings of the Prophet (peace be upon him), the argument for the full Tasleem is much stronger. The consensus among most scholars is that "Salam" on its own does not fulfill the Sunnah of the Islamic greeting. Imam Al-Nawawi, in his book Al-Adhkar, was very clear about this. He said that the minimum for a valid greeting that carries the full reward and requires a mandatory response is "As-Salamu Alaykum." He pointed out that if you just say "Salam," you are taking the bare minimum and you might lose the right to have the other person religiously obligated to answer you. You want the prayer of peace to be complete. Ibn Hajar al-Asqalani in his work Fath al-Bari also said the same thing. He explained that the Prophet (peace be upon him) specifically taught the Sahaba the full phrasing to make sure our greeting was different from how people used to greet each other before Islam. He pointed to the Hadith where the rewards are clearly counted: دخل رجل فقال السلام عليكم فقال النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم عشر ثم دخل آخر فقال السلام عليكم ورحمة الله فقال النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم عشرون ثم دخل آخر فقال السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته فقال النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم ثلاثون By the Hadith above, if "Salam" was the standard the Prophet (peace be upon him) wanted for us, he would have mentioned it as the baseline for those ten rewards. By giving us the counts of ten, twenty, and thirty, he was showing us that completeness matters. Even the Hanafi scholars, who are very detailed with these rules, have a firm stance. Ibn Abidin said in his famous book Radd al-Muhtar that saying "Salam" instead of the full Tasleem is a mistake. He mentioned it is something usually done by people who do not know the correct manners of the faith. He sees it as a departure from the proper Sunnah way of speaking to one another. We also have to remember the command of Allah in the Quran in Surah An-Nisa 4:86: وَإِذَا حُيِّيتُم بِتَحِيَّةٍ فَحَيُّوا بِأَحْسَنَ مِنْهَا أَوْ رُدُّوهَا ۗ إِنَّ اللَّهَ كَانَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ حَسِيبً "And when you are greeted with a greeting, greet (in return) with one better than it or (at least) return it (in a like manner). Indeed, Allah is ever, over all things, an Accountant." If you start with just "Salam," you are giving a very low baseline that does not leave much room for the other person to give you something better. The full Tasleem is a complete prayer and a way to build a real bond. While the logic used by Ibn Uthaymeen is based on those specific verses I mentioned earlier, the weight of the Prophet’s own instructions and the majority of the classical scholars shows that we should stick to the full way. It is safer for your reward and better for the community. Allah knows best.

@A_Yeroo @YusufAsunmogejo قالوا سلاما. قال سلام، فما لبث أن جاء بعجل حنيذ سلام قولا من رب العالمين The scholars say that saying "salaam" suffices and it carries the hidden "alaikum" From them is Shaikh Ibnul 'Uthaimeen

This position by Sheik was quite controversial when he first made it public more than a decade ago. In fact, let me quickly say that his position caused division in my madrasah and, funnily enough, we lost some of our students to other madrasahs. He was called a deviant for this. He was called an Innovator for this. In fact, this statement and many others attributed to him formed the reasons he was tagged an “Ikhwan.” I will speak more on this topic as the election season draws near. I have consumed a lot of material on them, and I will be happy to share what I have learned, the arguments of scholars on the subject, and the concessions Islam makes to a society like ours, still trying hard to find its feet. x.com/muslimpikin/st…

7/8 If you’re building in Web3, you aren't just looking for yield, you’re looking for a foundation. That’s what @ConcreteXYZ is pouring: a floor that doesn’t give way when the market gets shaky.

Why DeFi Debt is Broken (and How to Fix It) Most people see DeFi as a giant casino. But at its core, DeFi is a global credit market. The problem? It’s built on fragile debt. If we want a financial system that lasts, we need to move from fragility to Concrete stability 🧵👇

9/10 The Bottom Line Stop viewing DeFi as a lottery and start viewing it as a balance sheet. Yield = (Revenue - Cost) / Risk. Once you internalize that formula, you stop being liquidity and start being an investor.

DeFi is moving from the Casino Era to the Engineering Era. In the old model, yield was a reward for bravery. In the new model, yield is a result of architecture. If you're still chasing stickers, you’re missing the blueprint. 🧵👇
