Is it just me that noticed that a lot of banks have started aggressively marketing loans to their customers? It’s so weird. Why are they doing that????

Take note that saying "Salam" is not a proper Tasleem; you should give the full greeting to get the full reward. Here is the roadmap for you to follow when you need guidance on a choice. 1.Perform your wudu and make sure you are in a state of purity. 2.Pray two voluntary rak’ahs of prayer that are not part of your obligatory five daily prayers. 3.After the prayer, you recite the specific dua of Istikharah. You can say it before or after the final Tasleem of your prayer. Here is the dua as narrated by Jabir ibn Abdullah in Sahih al-Bukhari: Meaning: O Allah, I consult You through Your knowledge, and I seek strength through Your power, and I ask of Your great bounty; for You are capable and I am not, and You know and I do not, and You are the Knower of the unseen. O Allah, if You know that this matter is good for me in my religion, my livelihood, and my final outcome, then ordain it for me and make it easy for me, then bless me in it. But if You know that this matter is evil for me in my religion, my livelihood, and my final outcome, then turn it away from me and turn me away from it, and ordain for me what is good wherever it may be, and make me content with it. (When you reach the part about "this matter, —the bolded text" you mention the specific thing you are deciding on). What to look for after 1. Once you have prayed, move forward with your decision. If Allah makes the path smooth and doors open without you having to force them, that is your answer. It is a sign of good. 2. If you find that every turn brings a new problem or if you feel a heavy, unexplained discomfort in your chest regarding the choice, take that as a sign to stop. 3. Consult others who know better than you. Guidance often comes through the mouths of others. Speak to people you trust who have experience in the matter you are dealing with. In conclusion, relying on Allah means you have done your part by asking Him and now you trust that whatever happens next is what is best for you. Don't sit around waiting for a dream. If you asked, He is already answering through the reality of the situation. Trust the process and keep your heart still. Allah knows best.

BIG ENERGY: I am pleased to announce that NNPC Limited has successfully completed the River Niger crossing of the OB3 Gas Pipeline. Executed 2km beneath the riverbed using advanced HDD technology, this milestone unlocks a transport capacity of 2 billion scf/day—strengthening Nigeria’s energy security, power generation, and industrial growth. It also builds on our AKK crossing success and reflects disciplined execution, innovative engineering, and the unwavering commitment of our team and partner, PCE Nig. Limited. I thank Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, for his Gas-to-Prosperity agenda, our Board under Chairman Ahmadu Musa Kida, the host communities, and the resilient team at NGIC for their steadfast support and commitment. The OB3 Pipeline links East to West and connects to the Northern corridor via the AKK Pipeline, unlocking over 500 million scf/day of domestic gas. The AKK will supply power plants, fertiliser, manufacturing, and new industries across Kaduna, Kano, and beyond, driving job creation, economic diversification, energy access, and West African exports.

@MA_Iliasu No it doesn't. I am saying there's not a singular meaning for the word, which is the original argument. You will not catch a Hausa person calling a Fulani person 'ƙabila' for example. Because in that context it is only reserved for who is considered 'less'

In no form or condition has the word ‘Qabila’ ever meant an insult in Hausa. Hausawa refer to even themselves as ‘Qabilar Hausa’. Annabi (SAW) ɗan QABILAR Qurayshi ne — mafi ɗaukakar QABILUN larabawa. Haka Hausawa ke karanta Sirah tun fil’azal. Kuke ga zasuy wasa da Annabi?
Ibrahim M@ibrah_shuwa

We all like to pretend, but tribe is guilty of ethnocentrism. Hausas label every other tribe as Qabila. Nupes insist they cannot be with Hausa. Fulani carry themselves like direct descendants of Banu Quraysh. But somehow, everyone still claims they are above tribal bias online😅

@maryaamah_ I think they are specifically referring to the Umrah visa, which is ideally supposed to be for Muslims alone.

You no even need to deep am to realise that getting people jobs is no different from sharing rice. Both actions substitute responsibility for the collective with temporary, individual appeasement. But since one appears more grand to supposedly educated niqqas, it's commendable.
AM Ngidda@AYNgidda

"He is my friend" "He has gotten jobs and empowered people" So, we should reward him by voting for him. Obviously, he has social rapport with people. But beyond that, what has he that he deserves to be one of the people to be empowered with drafting laws on behalf of his ppl?

Gaskiya you people don't know who Abdulmuttalib ibn Hashim was if you think Khadija RA was out of our prophet's league by tribal standards. There was no bigger OG in his lifetime. One of the few times the prophet ever "appealed to tribal sentiments", for lack of better wording...
