Earlier this week, a female hotel cleaner posted to Reddit that it wasn’t safe to clean a hotel “that isn’t open to the public.” Yesterday, she and a coworker was fired for refusing to turn up to a shift despite letting her boss know they were both terrified. She previously worked with Rhiannon Whyte, a hotel worker who was stabbed to death by a South Sudanese asylum seeker last year. The fact that we’re in a situation now where women have to work around dangerous migrants is absolutely disgusting. Everyone involved in housing them needs to answer for what they’ve done
