The 2026 IIHF Division 2A world championships scheduled for El Ain in the UAE are cancelled. IIHF considering moving the tournament (ie Serbia) at next meeting, but highly unlikely given only 4 weeks notice and Australia unlikely to participate either. iihf.com/en/news/72458/…

The IIHF is meeting this morning to determine whether the 2026 Division 2A Worlds will be relocated elsewhere or cancelled, due to the situation in the UAE where it was scheduled to be hosted. Australia might not participate, but is not the only country in the group affected.

Nathan Walker's dad, Wayne, traveled more than 9,200 miles to join his first-ever NHL Dads' Trip with the Blues this week. The trip took him from Sydney, Australia to Los Angeles to Phoenix before finally landing in St. Louis. The whole trip took about 36 hours, and it was the longest trip any dad had to take... by far. Would he do it again? "I'd do it every weekend if I could," he said. #stlblues
