I had a great meeting with the Mr Bin Wang, Director General of the @AIIB_Official Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) in Beijing. Our focus was clear: moving from project talks to a structured partnership that delivers real infrastructure and energy projects across Africa. We discussed how to work together on: · Integrated economic corridors that connect transport, energy, and digital networks to boost trade under AfCFTA · Power and energy systems to expand regional transmission and renewable energy · Blended and concessional finance to make projects more viable and attract private capital AIIB is already active in African countries. Our goal is to build on that momentum—creating a clear pipeline of investment-ready projects, from preparation to financing. Infrastructure drives transformation.
