This week's AI LA Salon was Los Angeles’ first-ever official @n8n_io meetup, bringing together automation practitioners and developers for a straightforward look at building workflows with n8n. Alex K. demonstrated an end-to-end pipeline that generates AI veo3 videos entirely inside n8n- illustrating how a few well-configured nodes can replace manual steps. Throughout the session, Dylan Watkins shared practical guidance and answered implementation questions from attendees. An open Q&A followed, covering topics such as node best practices, the future of AI workflows, and all of the possible use cases for the platform. Conversations carried on over food, drinks, and a modest stash of swag. Thanks to everyone who joined– we look forward to seeing you at our next Salon. Dipped my toes in the world of @n8n_io workflow automation at @AILA_Community. 🤓 A point that stuck with me: The tech will take someone with little knowledge in a subject from 1-10x, but it’ll take someone with domain expertise from 10-100x.

On July 20th, AI LA proudly celebrated the graduation of Cohort 5 of the IDEAS Program. Twenty driven community college students from across Los Angeles completed our 10-week, no-cost career accelerator hosted at our Venice headquarters. The IDEAS Program equips students with foundational skills and mentorship in fields such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, software engineering, data science, and product management. Over the coming weeks, we will spotlight student testimonials and final projects from this inspiring cohort. Applications for Cohort 6 are now open.
