Excited to have Alexa for Shopping rolled out for all of our customers, bringing together Rufus and Alexa+ to give customers an even more compelling AI shopping assistant. Alexa for Shopping is like having an expert personal shopper who already knows you and remembers your preferences, past purchases, and conversations, and carries that knowledge and understanding across your phone, laptop, and Echo devices. Look forward to seeing how customers use it. aboutamazon.com/news/retail/al…

Amazon Supply Chain Services—our freight, distribution, fulfillment, and parcel shipping network—can now be used by any business. Was built over nearly three decades to move, store, and deliver products across land, air, and sea. All one network, so no need to piece together different providers at every stage. Same reliability and speed our customers rely on. P&G, 3M, Lands' End, and American Eagle already on board. Gonna help a lot of businesses move faster, save money, and simplify things. aboutamazon.com/news/retail/am…

The Quick desktop app is here, and it’s compelling. Connects to your email, calendar, Slack, local files, and several other apps to flag important communications, retrieve and summarize info, make recommendations, send communications, and create agents that do work you used to have to do yourself. Gets smarter and more personalized the more you use it. Been using it a lot recently and is changing how I work. It’s allowing me to use applications like my inbox more like an archive, and Quick as my personalized, prioritized, productivity hub that can multi-task various needs. Still early days, and a lot more coming, but excited for folks to start using it to make the undifferentiated work so much less complicated. aboutamazon.com/news/aws/amazo…

Very interesting announcement from OpenAI this morning. We’re excited to make OpenAI's models available directly to customers on Bedrock in the coming weeks, alongside the upcoming Stateful Runtime Environment. With this, builders will have even more choice to pick the right model for the right job. More details at our AWS event in San Francisco tomorrow.

Another exciting development in our chips business as Meta has decided to bet big on Graviton, our leading CPU chip—committing to tens of millions of Graviton cores. Agentic AI is becoming almost as big a CPU story as a GPU story. Complex multi-step orchestration, real-time reasoning, and code generation at scale is CPU-intensive work. And, our purpose-built Graviton5 instances deliver up to 33% lower latency between cores, which matters a lot for these kinds of workloads. Meta has been a longtime AWS customer and one of our biggest users of Bedrock... looking forward to what they build with Graviton5. aboutamazon.com/news/aws/meta-…

.@Uber's putting our purpose-built Graviton4 chip to work on millions of daily rides and deliveries—matching riders with drivers in fractions of a second at lower cost—and leveraging Trainium3 to train the AI models that make every ride smarter over time. Built our own chips to deliver better price-performance for customers, and excited to see Uber use them to scale and innovate quickly. aboutamazon.com/news/aws/aws-u…

Excited to have @Delta bringing @Amazonleo high-speed internet to its fleet (starting with 500 planes in 2028). We'll also be working with them to expand their popular Delta Sync Wi-Fi and seatback experiences—delivering even more personalized connections onboard. Each plane will have an aviation-specific Leo antenna onboard that can do speeds up to 1 Gbps download / 400 Mbps upload. Makes the experience similar to what many folks have at home and work—just 35,000 feet in the air. Gonna change what’s possible while flying. aboutamazon.com/news/amazon-le…

Project Hail Mary opens today. It’s a nearly impossible movie to adequately describe without giving up key info, so I won’t ruin it for folks. But, it’s my favorite movie I’ve seen in a long time. Truly outstanding and unique, and recommend your seeing.

Everyone knows what it’s like to scramble to get something done. Missing ingredients before people come over for dinner. Packing school lunches for the morning. Needing new headphones for tomorrow’s flight. Teams across Amazon have been working to solve those problems, and today we're introducing 1-hour and 3-hour delivery options on over 90,000 products—everything from paper towels and cleaning supplies to electronics. One-hour delivery is available in hundreds of cities and towns, and 3-hour delivery in over 2,000…with more coming. Should be a big help. aboutamazon.com/news/retail/am…

Excited about our new strategic partnership with @OpenAI. Developers and companies of all kinds are eager to run services powered by OpenAI models on AWS, and our unique collaboration will provide a stateful runtime environment for them that’s powered by OpenAI’s frontier intelligence on Amazon Bedrock. OpenAI is also going big on our custom Trainium chips, which are 30-40% more price performant than comparable GPUs, to power their growth. Both the leading AI labs now have made significant commitments to Trainium, which is gaining a lot of momentum. We’ll be the exclusive 3P cloud distribution provider for OpenAI Frontier (which enables organizations to build, deploy, and manage teams of AI agents). And finally, we’re excited about our investment in OpenAI — it’s an extremely talented team with great products, IP, and vision for how they can continue to serve customers and enterprises. We think they’ll be one of the big winners in AI, we can help them grow, and we believe we’ll earn a strong return for Amazon over the long term. aboutamazon.com/news/aws/amazo…

Always enjoy spending time in @greggottesman and @lazowska's @UW Entrepreneurship class. This is a unique class that combines students from computer science, business, and design backgrounds collaborating on real products (from ideation to pitch)-- just like any startup. I suspect this sort of cross-disciplinary curriculum will pick up more momentum at more schools over time as AI allows every person working on a new idea to start from a more advanced starting spot, but it’s not easy to create curriculum and a culture in a class like Greg, Ed, and these students have created. Appreciated being there.

People ask me all the time about compelling use cases of AI. Here’s a good one. Millions of dogs go missing in the U.S. every year—and options for finding them are often painfully limited. Our Ring team saw an opportunity to use our community and technology to help, so they built Search Party. When a pet owner posts about a lost dog in the Ring app, nearby participating outdoor Ring cameras in the neighborhood begin looking for potential matches. If yours spots what might be the missing dog, it lets you know. You see the photo alongside footage from your camera, then can choose to share the video with the pet’s owner. The AI is trained on tens of thousands of dog videos so it can recognize different breeds, sizes, fur patterns, body features, unique marks, shape, and color. And privacy stays in your control—you decide each time whether to help. The impact is energizing. Search Party has helped bring home 99 dogs in just 90 days—more than a dog a day since launching three months ago. Ring customer Kylee was blown away by Search Party after her dog Nyx was found by a neighbor’s camera just 15 minutes after slipping through a tiny hole he’d dug under her backyard fence. When a Ring customer and military veteran named Kurt realized his service dog was missing after jumping his fence, he worried he might have lost her for good. He quickly initiated a Search Party in the Ring app asking neighbors to help locate her. Later that day, he got the notification he was hoping for…Lainey was found. Chris, a Ring camera owner, helped reunite another lost dog with its family after getting an app alert that said, “Your camera may have spotted a missing dog,” flagging footage he wouldn't have otherwise noticed. And the list of stories like these keeps growing. Now we’ve expanded this feature so that anyone in the U.S. can start a Search Party through the Ring app, even without a Ring camera (lost pets are one of the most common posts in the Ring Neighbors app—over 1M last year alone). With roughly 90 million dogs in the U.S., think this is gonna matter for a lot of families. Good example of real-world impact, and proud of what the Ring team has built here. aboutamazon.com/news/devices/r…

One of many frustrating experiences in healthcare today is calling for health advice and having to start from scratch, explaining your entire medical history, again. We’re working to solve that with Health AI for @OneMedical patients—a clinically grounded, highly personalized agentic AI assistant based on your complete health background. Integrates with One Medical membership in the One Medical app—safely and securely—so it knows your medical history, current medications, lab results, and upcoming appointments. And doesn't just answer questions—it can help you book appointments, submit prescription renewals, or guide you to the right care... whether that's a virtual visit, in-person appointment, or urgent care. Excited for this to make the healthcare experience easier for patients so they can get and stay healthy. Here's an example of the experience below. aboutamazon.com/news/retail/on…

Big thanks to all the fans who joined us for Saturday’s incredible Packers-Bears Playoff game on Prime Video… You made it the most-streamed NFL game in U.S. history, clearing the prior mark by 4M+. We have loved bringing you games this past year again. You can see it from every single person on our TNF team that we love what we do and love trying to make fans’ experience better (and fun!) every time out. We look forward to being with you all next season and you can expect us to go right back to work innovating on the experience for 2026-2027.

I can’t wait for tonight’s rubber match to the Bears-Packers trilogy this season. Both of the regular season games were fantastic (the first settled on a late interception of Caleb Williams, and the second in OT on a Caleb bomb to DJ Moore). Caleb Williams' first playoff game, Jordan Love is back, two of the best teams in the league, and coverage begins at 7:30 p.m. ET—only on Prime.

As we close out 2025, incredibly grateful for our teammates and partners who've driven real impact in the communities where we live and work. While there's still more to do, here's a look at some of the progress made this year: 1. Through our $3.6B housing fund, we surpassed 23K affordable homes created and preserved this year for 50K+ residents across the Puget Sound, National Capital Region, and Nashville. 2. We collaborated with 50+ food banks in the U.S. and U.K. to deliver over 12.8M meals to the doorsteps of more than 82K families in need and committed to continuing our support of our partners for another 3 years. We also transported 70M meals from suppliers to food banks, and from food banks to pantries, schools, and other community distribution points worldwide. 3. We responded to 30 natural disasters across 12 countries—using our logistics network to deliver over 1.6M relief items to nonprofits and our disaster relief technology to help restore power and connectivity to impacted communities. We also donated $10M to support relief efforts after the devastating wildfires in California and $3M after the historic flooding in our home state of Washington. 4. Over 275K Amazon volunteers across 56 countries organized 26K events this year, including a record 134K participants in our Global Month of Volunteering in May. We partnered with 2.5K+ nonprofits across 40+ countries, including Habitat for Humanity, Everybody Wins DC, and Roc Solid Foundation. 5. Through Future Ready 2030, our $2.5B global commitment to education and skills training, we're helping prepare 50M people for the future of work. Our Amazon Future Engineer program also provided over 17M hours of STEM education to 1.1M students in the U.S. and awarded $17.3M in scholarships to 900+ students in the U.S. and India. And we committed to AI skills training for 4M U.S. learners through the White House's Pledge to America's Youth. 6. Six years after founding The Climate Pledge, our commitment to net-zero carbon by 2040, we hit a significant milestone of over 600 Climate Pledge signatories who will play a critical role in stimulating investment in the development of low-carbon products and services. 7. We celebrated 25 years of independent sellers in Amazon's store—most of which are small and medium-sized businesses that continue to strengthen local economies across the country. These sellers make up more than 60% of sales in our store, have generated more than $2.5T in cumulative sales, and in 2024, employed more than 2M people in the U.S. providing over $100B in wages. We want communities to be better off because we're there, and we'll keep building on this in 2026, leveraging Amazon's size, scale, and unique ability to help. Excited about what we'll accomplish together. Happy New Year!

First ever color Kindle Scribe is here and think customers are going to really like it. We completely redesigned it from the ground up, and it’s now ultra-thin, writing and sketching feels like it’s happening on paper, and moving between pages is almost instantaneous. The AI we’ve baked in (featuring our Nova models) is especially useful, helping people find their notes, create note summaries, and ask questions of their notes. Think this is gonna change how folks work. aboutamazon.com/news/devices/n…

India's entrepreneurial energy continues to inspire. Excited to share we plan to invest an additional $35 billion in India through 2030 to help small and medium-sized businesses grow and thrive (announced at our sixth Amazon Smbhav Summit). This will bring AI benefits to 15 million businesses and 4 million students, quadruple “Made in India” exports to $80 billion, and support 3.8 million jobs by 2030. SMBs are driving India’s efforts to go digital, contributing to growing exports of local goods, and are creating lots of good jobs. Looking forward to empowering more SMBs to build new businesses and fuel innovation across India. aboutamazon.com/news/company-n…
