This especially affects Japanese and South Korean productions. •Standard A (On-Screen Representation): A lead or significant supporting actor is from an underrepresented group (Black, Hispanic, etc.), or at least 30% of the ensemble cast is from underrepresented groups (women, LGBTQ+, people with disabilities, or underrepresented ethnic groups). •Standard B (Creative Team): Key creative leadership or crew positions (directors, cinematographers, etc.) are filled by underrepresented groups. •Standard C (Industry Access): The production company offers paid internships/apprenticeships to underrepresented groups. •Standard D (Marketing): The film has diverse marketing, publicity, or distribution teams.

I didn’t share the biggest and most important aspect of this little project - the director, designer, partner and only person I would ever (hypothetically) do this project with - Bannon Rudis. He directed The River City Girls games amongst many others with a strong focus on combat feel, narrative, and design that is fresh. He and I worked on this pitch together and I owe all of the praise to him for guiding along the artwork I made for the concept. He’s a big Capcom nut and huge Predator fan which gave so much credibility to the design he was creating for this idea. Here are some snapshots of the work he put together. I trust him with my entire being with game design and love working with him on projects (we are one one right now). The idea of the vision he had for this game and it not becoming a reality is what I’m most sad about. All that said, is this still possible? Iono maybe? Perhaps we can try to reopen the conversation again. Fan reaction has been tremendous especially in the beatem up community and fans of retro games. I don’t see why this couldn’t become something that could come to life and we are able to talk to the right people. Thousands of people can’t be wrong for wanting this but I have been jaded so much over the years, I’m not holding my breathe. @LukeStephens Dude, just ignore the noise. It's crazy how people get offended at personal opinions now. The whole idea of watching different reviews is that we get different perspectives and it's great to hear people just be honest about how they feel about games. Appreciate your take on it.

My Crimson Desert Review (W.I.P.) TLDW: Crimson Desert is a game that fundamentally changes our perception of what is possible in the medium. Its open-world, exploration, and sheer scale all offer something that almost no other game has even attempted. It's NOT perfect: there are bugs, occasional quality dips, and its scope can sometimes leave ideas on the table for too long, but overall I'm thoroughly impressed. After 60+ hours I'm loving it. I think it will probably take me 120+ to roll credits and likely 300+ for a completionist run; even so, I cannot wait to see what else the game has tucked away for me to find and I'm actively playing it even while writing this pinned comment. It won't be for everyone, and I expect the game-journalist memes will FLOW considering its lack of hand-holding, but it's definitely for me. youtu.be/zytQQZVqdCQ

Project Hail Mary is outstanding. Ryan Gosling is so talented he somehow conjures emotion and chemistry with his co-star, even though that co-star is an alien rock puppet! It’s an amazing film — huge kudos to the whole Amazon Studios team.
